Because the NYT has proof his phone is tapped? And how do they know what he discusses isn't his grandchildren like Bill Clinton on a plane?

Actually, they don't know what he's discussing on his iPhone. However, they say that they hope and pray he doesn't discuss classified stuff on his iPhone, and leaves those discussions for a secured land line, which they said, they are able to get him to use more now.

There is no evidence China hacked anything. Only "anonymous" sources that say they may have.

They say he still uses his iPhone but can't say what for.

White House officials have learned that President Donald Trump’s cellphone conversations are being intercepted by Russia and China to gather information on his associates and policy positions, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The officials cited in the report, who remained anonymous, said they were alerted by individuals working within these foreign governments. They said the Chinese have determined a list of contacts with whom the president speaks most frequently.

The president keeps two official iPhones with modifications by the National Security Agency, and a third personal phone for personal contacts, White House officials said.
