I think the poster’s point was that for people who want to go into STEM majors, which is where the need is, people need math. If you want to major in sociology, or worse, Ethnic Studies or Gender Studies, sure….you don’t need math, but that’s what average people major in and then they can‘t find jobs beyond Starbucks.True, but that’s for people that want to be engineers.
