Trump confronted Communist China, made them heel slightly and is still fighting them.

That in itself, is worth multiple trillions in economic wealth. In terms of national security, jobs, industries and social costs.

I will add these points as well. Obama came in at a low point, as I've said, it is much easier to grow a stagnant economy, especially at record low interest rates, heavy economic stimulus, and, the rest of the world doing the same.

Far tougher to do so when the economy was steady, though jobs were leaking when Trump came in, money is more expensive and foreign governments are engaged in austerity in some cases (Germany has been grappling with this, for instance). Again, on top of this, fighting global abusers and getting them in line.
