In a Republic, actually
Donald Trump is suddenly looking like a very weak autocrat

‘Trump once again unleashed a fearsome barrage of tweets on Wednesday morning. The target was the New York Times’s new report that intelligence officials have established contacts between Russian intelligence and Trump campaign officials during the campaign.

Trump attacked the news media again, railing that “the fake news media is going crazy with their conspiracy theories and blind hatred.” He also blasted the intelligence services, claiming that they are “illegally” giving information to the media, which, he opined, is “just like Russia.”

his has become a pattern, in which Trump deals with setbacks by lashing out at other institutions, including ones that can function as a check on his power. When the courts blocked his immigration ban, he blasted both the courts and the news media for making us less safe, in what seemed to be designed to lay the groundwork to blame them for a future terrorist attack, a move that even some Republicans criticized for its authoritarian tendencies. This appeared to be a test run of sorts, in which Trump was experimenting with how far he could go in delegitimizing the institutions that might act as a check on his power later.

But as a test run, for now, at least, it is failing. Trump’s unchecked antics on multiple fronts are suddenly making him look like a very weak autocrat wannabe.’

Opinion | Donald Trump is suddenly looking like a very weak autocrat

This is, of course, the consequence of Trump’s comprehensive ignorance of sound, responsible governance.

Most of America want's to see the mainstream media shot down. Let's face it, at a press conference the reporter called on gives a 5 minute speech on some inane left wing topic then finally asks an equally idiotic question that has probably already been answered. You're just upset that the left wing ownership of the quasi-news organizations is being unraveled and they are shown for the propaganda arm that they are. After 8 years of an idiot in the White House being fawned over and asked fluff questions this is refreshing.

he'll be gone soon, his Russian collaboration is being investigated by numerous agencies now, and they already have Flynn's collaboration on file, for sure there are others, probably Cheetolini himself....wow

"and they already have Flynn's collaboration on file,"

You have got to feel foolish, especially if you will notice the link to this statement.

“General Michael Flynn was right to discuss sanctions with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. First, The Washington Post already published an article in January titled FBI reviewed Flynn’s calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit. The FBI’s counterintelligence agents listened to the call between Flynn and Kislyak and the FBI “has not found any evidence of wrongdoing or illicit ties to the Russian government.” Calls for further investigation ignore the fact Flynn was already investigated by the FBI and exonerated.”

I am sure you are calling for in investigation into these obvious deals the Clinton's had with the Russians.

"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock."

According to the Washington Post, the FBI and the far left Huffington Post, he most certainly does have that right.
