I can't/won't get behind NYT pay wall but if they said China is helping Trump they are more dishonest than I thought.

A Republican sponsored bill to ban Tik Tok to stop Chinese disinformation passed with a large bipartisan majority with almost all Republican voting for it. Would the Republicans have voted that way if it was helping Trump? The bill is stalled in the Democrat controlled Senate who may not pass it.
