I do agree with the premise that Mr. K pulled the shit he did because he perceived JFK as weak. After all, Kennedy had done a few good things but only when he was so ordered by the party. On his own? He'd have spent 50% of his day in bed with some starlet, 40% nodding off in his rocker and most of the remaining 10% arranging for Jackie to fly off to Newport to meet intimate friends. Obama? His chronic limp-wristedness has made America a laughing stock. Now one confused little kid wants Hillary to assume The Obama Mantle? Come to think of it, I could see Donald Trump take off his shoe to pound on a table in a blustery fit of pique. Naturally given to spectacle, he fits the bill for entertainer extraordinaire, but he has no business as the leader of the free world.

I think of Trump as a modern day Charles Martel. For all his theatrics, Trump's the only one talking about the danger of Islam, as well as mass illegal immigration in general, and he's willing to do something about it.

I think nearly everyone has been On Topic in this thread, as best as we can with such a strange OP, we've attempted to get Jake to explain how The Donald is like Nikita Khrushchev, something that Jake has struggled to do, which isn't surprising because the comparison is ludicrous.

Jake did derail his own thread, I don't know how women's voting rights and returning to the 1950s got into this thread, but it did.
