The Myth of Donald Trump.

damn dude, that was the fastest "whataboutism" I have seen from you yet.

well fucking done.

Get your ass handed to you so you pivot to this.

You do your party masters proud!

Oh, and I should point out my post was not about Trump, it was about you folks that worship him.
Imo both the linked article and J. Galt both got it wrong. Yeah, Trump goes "ape shit" whenever someone points out he's barely solvent, if even that. But to his fans, he's still rich. And it's not debatable that the guy lives large. Trump's allergy to truth is a detriment to his ability to lead. All pols lie, but Trump's lies are the basis for his fame - he's a conman, actor, spokesperson. But, he's not a politician. He never set out to be one, even in 2016.

Still none of that matters. And JD Vance looks ready and able to take up the maga mantle when Trump's done.

I'm hoping you can provide a more detailed and thorough history of Trump.

Maybe a couple of new threads wherein you can write extensively about, "Trump - The Early Years", and then move on to the evolutionary process of TDS and how it affects you.

Trump's favorite myth about himself just isn't true. Richard Branson also spoke about it years ago.

Donald Trump likes to think of himself as a great businessman, but at least one official who served under him says that’s not the case at all.

“Donald Trump is not a great businessman,” former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor told MeidasTouch. “He is a failed businessman across the board. Trump Steaks and Trump Vodka and Trump Airlines and we could go on and on".

Taylor also dispensed with the argument that the former president’s wealth is proof of his business acumen.

“Al Capone was incredibly rich,” he said. “You can be rich and not be a great businessman. You can be a fraud. And we’ve seen this with Donald Trump throughout his history. Even people who’ve been huge supporters of his have come away saying, ‘he’s a total fraud.’”
David Cay Johnston has been covering Trump since the 1980s; he's convinced Trump is a lifelong criminal, and he has decades of evidence to support his opinions:

David Cay Johnston on How Trump's Tax Returns Show He Defrauded U.S. and Enriched Himself

"Six years of Donald Trump's tax returns were released by a House committee on Friday after a years-long legal battle by the former president to keep them sealed.

"Early revelations include the finding that Trump paid just $750 in federal income tax during his first year in office in 2017, and he paid no tax in 2020.

"The newly released tax records give a long-overdue glimpse of Trump's personal and business finances, which he refused to disclose during the 2016 presidential election, breaking with decades of precedent.

"Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter David Cay Johnston, who has covered Trump for decades, says the new documents show 'absolutely brazen' tax fraud. 'Donald Trump has been a criminal his whole life,' says Johnston."

Donald comes from a long line of criminals:

Trump Engaged in Suspect Tax Schemes as He Reaped Riches From His Father (Published 2018)

"President Trump participated in dubious tax schemes during the 1990s, including instances of outright fraud, that greatly increased the fortune he received from his parents, an investigation by The New York Times has found.

"Mr. Trump won the presidency proclaiming himself a self-made billionaire, and he has long insisted that his father, the legendary New York City builder Fred C. Trump, provided almost no financial help.

But The Times’s investigation, based on a vast trove of confidential tax returns and financial records, reveals that Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, starting when he was a toddler and continuing to this day."(10/2/2018)
