Thay are failing to abide by the 14th amendment:

"The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law... shall not be questioned."

Which means that Congress has to pay it's bills.

I didn't know about the first... and who said it? Obama or someone else. Fast and furious was fucked up... No shit. but it certainly isn't the first and won't be the last mistake a branch of the government makes. Iran/Contra under Reagan... and that went all the way to the top. Not that I'm picking on Republicans... there are plenty of examples of those kind of mistakes... Ruby Ridge and Waco under Clinton, WMD's under Bush.

But anyway... that doesn't matter to you. Anything you can do to attack this president, you will. Truthfully, I didn't mind Bush going into Iraq all that much. People get bad intel all the time. What I mind is all of that stuff cost us a hell of a lot of money and while we were worrying about the "war on terror", Wall Street and big business robbed our country blind, gambled with those stolen dollars in their Casino(Stock Market) and lost their fucking shirts... then demanded Bush Bail them out... and like a good little Republican... he went before Congress and begged them to do so... Coincidentally... right before the election... when all Politicians are paranoid about making decisions that could cost them their jobs... they voted it down anyway.... So Bush went to the American people telling us that the world was going come to an end if Congress didn't pass this bill. You know... the bill in which we gave them the money and it disallowed any kind of of oversight or investigation as to why they fucked up in the first place... which basically avoided huge lawsuits from "We the people", who got ripped off to no end..... and also allowed them to foreclose on a large number of people who were struggling.

It's the marriage from hell... The GOP and Wall Street. Yes... I know.. Dems get money too... but the GOP worships them like Gods and gives them anything they want... and the result is... they get rich, we get screwed and our country dies a little bit more... EVERY SINGLE TIME.
