Toys R us files 2nd largest retail bankruptcy in US history

Disposable income continues to decline across the board. LBO debt kills a lot of very sound companies, like Mitt Romney's PE firm ran Meryvn's into bankruptcy. Which PE firm bankrupted Toys R Us?

What's Amazon going to do when fewer and fewer people can afford phone and data services and the like? When nobody can afford to buy much?

The one near us was always dirty, like WalMart.

They seemed like a warehouse , a poorly stocked warehouse. I bought my kids a couple bikes there, but they were usually out of what we wanted. Wed go there for the big wooden train set the kids could play with. Then head to fred meyers or target and find what we needed. Still kinda sucks to see all these places close though.

Not many decent toys out there in the first place that average people can afford. That Red Chinese 'outsourcing' hasn't worked outside of a few nice quarterly reports and dividends for a very few, and those go away sooner than later.
