Still trying to turn a victory into Vietnam. It took the U.S. Army three weeks to defeat the military of one of the mightiest Arab armies. We are dealing with old regime elements and terrorists. They kill more or less 50 American soldiers a month. We use to lose that in a few hours in Vietnam. We have occupied the capital something we were never allowed to do in Vietnam. Also the North Vietnamese never threatened the United States. This Arab pyschos have and as 9/11 and the London bombings have proved they will. We aren't going any place so if the insurgents want to continue to enter the express lane to Allah the U.S. and British military will be happy to send them.

The mightiest military in history has met its match in not the enemies of fallujah of whom they could obliterate in a moment's notice. Rather they have met their match in the politicians who look to undermine their every movement. From the left they undermine them through a malicious intent of making the military look bad and attempting to ruin a presidency to try and save their own face. From the right in fear of of the left, by accidentally killing a civilian and having an army of lawyers mount an attack on our home soil instead of the front lines.

If the fear of the right could subside, Fallujah would be dealt with swiftly. Im talking 2 hours swiftly and it would be a parking lot. If the treason of the left were to ever give way, we then could fight this enemy with both hands. Trying to coddle the left with one hand and fight with the other strains the mightiest military in the history of man.

Very well put. Knucklehead won't buy it though, and he rarely defends his posts.

What do you mean by and? thats it, read it!

Victory, lol, well maybe if your watching CNN, then you its a victory.
1- The Iraqi army was hardly a mighty one. Maybe 114 years ago, but not after 10 years of sanctions.
2- The american army is strong against normal wars, but its useless, as any other army againt a resistance movement from the people on the ground, you clearly didnt read the whole article because that was the main point of it, the american army can hardly do anything except kill civilians as retaliation for every operation the resistance does.
3- Your clearly confusing things, Iraq and the "insurgency" had nothing to do with 9/11 they are simply defending their country, as would anyone else in any other part of the world.

Thats what your good at, killing civilians and destroying cities, 8000 civilians died in Falluja, thats more than who died in 9/11, arent they humans as well? hardly the freedom and democracy the american goverment said it would bring to the Iraqi people.

Yeah, once again we poor ignorant folk just don't understand .... you ......again.

How hard do you think it is to figure out you are just a mouthpiece for any anti_US extremism that comes along? If you think it puts the US in bad light, you're right on top of it, Scoop.

I'd have burned your damned city to the ground -- mission accomplished. Then you'd really have something to cry in your Corn Flakes about.
