I'm guessing the Muslim population is probably 30 million or more now - including converts which is greatly on the rise in the black communities and in prisons throughout the USA.

In 2015 there were about 3.3 million Muslims in the US.

There were 18 million Arab Muslims living in the USA prior to 9/11 and now there are 3.3 million? That is quite amazing. Did I miss a mass exodus of Muslims leaving the USA? When did that happen? I thought they were coming here! Not leaving!

This is a mystery to me - perhaps someone here can explain it. Before 9/11 Ariana Fallaci's book, "The Rage and the Pride," stated that there were 18 million Arab Muslims living in the United States. Note that this was before 9/11. Don Richardson stated in his book, Secrets of the Quran that there were over 4,000 mosques in the United States with a new one opening at the rate of 1 per week somewhere in the USA (if I recall the latter statistic correctly - I believe it was 1 a week) and this didn't count the home mosques that were multiplying throughout the 5 burroughs of NY and elsewhere.

With that said, how are the number of Muslims in the US going down instead of up? How are the number of Mosques going down instead of up? What is the source of counting Muslims in the USA? According to a US Census worker they have repeatedly been given the religion of Catholicism (or other religions) rather than Islam while the person taking the census was wearing a hajib, yet they have to write down whatever they are told. So how accurate are these numbers?
