Firing and rehiring Census workers isn't proof the stimulus package worked.Whatever.
How much are you willing to further add to the deficit in order to further stimulate the economy and create more jobs?

$26 billion more being approved to keep teachers jobs afloat. As stimulus money begins to dwindle more of this same bandaid treatment will need to be applied. Barak Obama spent, but he did not improve.
What people don't seem to realize is that in real life capitalism is an awful lot like the game 'Monopoly':
In the end somebody owns all the properties, all the houses and buildings, and has all the money. Then: GAME OVER!
I'll trade your healthy growth rate for a 5% drop in unemployment, thank you. You're right. Obamanomics has clearly led to a healthy growth rate!
And it's more like make-it-up-as-you-go-along-onomics.

There is no fixed about of money. If someone gets rich, that does not mean someone else got poor.

LOL like monopoly. Now that is a good one. No wonder these poeple are so clueless they think Capitalism is just like Monopoly.
Unbelievable.

The population is rising, yet we don't get poorer. If there was a fixed amount of money, we'd keep having to divide it further and further and would all get poorer. As long as everyone is paid in proportion to their productive value. Otherwise, when some people get rich, some other people DO get poor.
No, it doesn't. But wealth is created.Money doesn't grow on trees, ya know.

Of course the stalling economy is no surprise to republicans. After all it's what they have been hoping and planning for since day one of obama's presidency and they started acting as the party of NO. The facts that show how far into "the party of NO" that republicans have gone is the fact that they voted against legislation that they co-signed as well as ideas that they supported just to maintain the status quo.
The right obstructs and stalls any attempt to help the economy because it suits their party's political needs to do so and you wish to pretend that is a good thing? Oh well as usual with the right, the end justifies the means and party before everything.
That is an empty talking point, as the Dems have a majority and still blame the Repubs. They have failed miserably at getting anything accomplished because they are beholding to all the special interests that put them in power. At what point do the dems and their supporters stop blaming everyone and take responsibility for their actions. The arrogance of Obama and his administration will not allow them, even in the face of overwhelming evidence, to admit that govt spending and growing the govt does not work. They set themselves up to fail with their policies so don't blame the repubs for recognizing that the path the dems chose would lead us to where we are.
Talk about empty talking points?? You presented the biggest one of all. The fact is that because of the party of "NO" a supermajority is required to pass damn near everything that comes to the floor for a vote in the senate.
Fact is that the dems have not had a super majority for a large portion of obama's first two years (not full two years) so for you to run with your talking point that the dems have only the majority so you can avoid responding to the content of my post shows that you have NOTHING but empty talking points. Thanks for the spin.
We were in a recession when Obama took office. We've been out of recession for a year.
yay,, right,, unemployment at nearly ten percent.. gobama gobama gobama..meanwhile Marie don't know shit bout no recession.
I'm just telling you the facts.
btw, half of the stimulus was tax cuts. So much for tax cuts stimulating the economy, eh??
lol

Well then, if tax cuts and spending can't stimulate the economy, then we'd best cancel the rest of the stimulus, let the Bush tax cuts expire, and let the economy sort itself out on its own.

What healthy Growth rate. The So called growth can only be described as Anemic, and the FED is set to revise Downward last months number anyways.
You Democrats are delusional.

Nice deflection as you completely avoided the fact that the economy is not improving yet the dems continue down this failed path. I guess that is the fault of the Repubs?
Face it, the Dems are completely ineffective even when it comes to pushing their liberal policies.
I support neither party as they are all the same in the end. I just have to respond to the constant partisan blame game and the endless, mindless mantra from the libs with the "party of no" chorus. If you do a little research you will find that any suggestions on any issue from the Repubs have been shot down and yet the Dems will continue with the "they have no solutions".
The sad fact is that while we waste our time taking sides, the country continues to get worse and the politicians continue to gain more power. They are quite happy with the divide as it takes the focus off of them. BOTH sides are full of equally corrupt, power hungry politicians that do not have our best interests in mind. You may think "your side" is better; you would be wrong.
Ditto.
Couldn't agree more. Both parties are full of self serving Clowns who don't care one iota what their bs costs the taxpayers of this country.
In short, both side suck. Best interests?? What a joke. The only interests they are interested in are their own. Jeeze and we elect thes assholes.
