This message board is infected with a very malicious spyware program

Yea i've noticed some strange behavior with my computer when visiting here lately. Things were running pretty slowly and lagging here the last few days. Maybe that's the cause? Right now i'm not noticing anything though. Maybe they caught it

That was the government updating the spyware on your computer.

I would download a program called "SpyDoctor" and run it on your computer. IT has the best reviews. The initial cleanup is free. maintenance for a year cost $29.95. I recommend the maintenance because I didn't pay for it and now I'm infected

It's called "Win 7 security 2012" or "XP Security 2012" I have had two of my computers infected with it so far. It will totally screw up your computer. This thing is really vicious. The only reason I can post this message is because I'm using my wife's apple computer.

I followed one of these the last time I got hit by a similar attack. Good Luck.

I got that on 2 computers awhile ago. There are fixes posted on youtube but they're pretty complicated. I used roguekiller to get it shut off at least.

Beware of Spydoctor. Just my humble opinion based on personal experience with it.

If you're running Malwarebytes it will stop it. I've had no issues that I can find on any of my systems.

I got hit by that thing twice last week. It;s actually fairly simple to clean off. I rebooted into SAFE MODE W/NETWORKING, updated MALWAREBYTES (I use that or SUPERANTISPYWARE), did a COMPLETE SCAN, delteded anything it found (which included the trojan responsible for this along with it's registry entry), and did a normal restart. This worked for me, and I believe bleepingcomputer.com suggests this method and has a manual method as well should this fail.

Weird, I just googled "Win 7 security 2012" and "XP Security 2012" and it said that these viruses are commonly acquired through frequent site vists of gay porn and beastiality websites.

yes when down loading beast porn it always best to use trusted sites..I suggest calling the better business bureau and asking for recommendations

I believe you're right. My computer is only 6 months old, and was working great up until about two weeks ago. Since then I've had a lot of freezes, and erratic behavior from it. quick scans say it's clean, but it's been consistnetly wierd. I havent done a full scan since it takes so long I have to sit by it to keep it from going to sleep.

But chances are even if it was cleaned up it would be reinfected right away.

I've wondered what's going on. At times this site seems so unresponsive on my phone ill hop on the computer and its even worse. All the other sites I visit load right up. Coincidence?

turn the sleep setting off in Windows. then you can scan away and not have to sit and stare at it for 2 hours.

My software is constantly blocking the attack.

This is true.

I was just about to post a thread about it two hours ago when I had my third attack from that.

I think I have it taken care of now. We'll see.

This is not good.

Spyware Doctor killed it -
Do I have to pay for that? My free AVG didn't handle it.

I have to pick a restore point from a week ago and that's how I fixed it...for now.

I'm looking for a fix that won't cost me more money, if you know of one. Or if anyone knows of one.

It's the Vista malware that I keep getting...apparently a trojan horse, from what the Google searches say.
