PP claims it is not profitable-------at $60 for "whatever" it does not seem
to me to be a PROFIT either-----it takes lots of care and work to sift thru
the mangled parts and pack them and ship them ----etc. If they were charging
$10,000 then you could say PROFIT-----maybe they clear $200 per year

In fact according to this story, PP prefers the parts be sold individually in order to maximize the return in dollars.

Well they have to pay to dispose of them so what's the difference? If you pay me to remove your old _____, or I do it even for free, what I do with it then is my business, not yours eh. unless we have another agreement. What they do with your donated items is usually up to, and only up to, who took in the donation.

David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress — the organization that released a series of horrifying videos seemingly capturing Planned Parenthood officials discussing their organization’s sale of fetal tissue obtained through abortion, says there is one question that still “needs to be answered” amid the controversy.

Speaking with TheBlaze TV’s Dana Loesch, Daleiden said Planned Parenthood must disclose how much it has profited from the practice.


“We don’t have a good way of knowing because Planned Parenthood’s baby part sales are buried so deep down within their organization that some of the national leadership of Planned Parenthood doesn’t even fully know the scope of it,” he said. “The national office has for many years now chosen to have a ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ policy about the fetal tissue sales of the affiliates in order to … keep themselves insulated it from it legally, even though they’re still aware of it.”

Though Daleiden wouldn’t commit to an exact number, he said “one, high-volume Planned Parenthood clinic can easily make at least $100,000 a year off the sale of baby parts, if not more.”

A third Planned Parenthood video was released Tuesday morning that features a whistleblower who says her biomedical company would compensate Planned Parenthood clinics for fetal organs based on their condition and quality after being extracted from an abortion.

Holly O’Donnell is a former technician for California-based Stem Express, a company that contracts with abortion clinics for the tissue.

“The more valuable the tissue the more money you get, so if you can somehow procure a brain or a heart you’re going to get more money than just umbilical cord,” O’Donnell says in the video. “So I guess that’s incentive to try and get the hard stuff because they get more money.”

The footage shows medical professionals picking through trays of aborted fetal tissue for legs and other recognizable body parts. O’Donnell says that when she was asked to participate, she fainted. She also names Cate Dyer, the president and founder of Stem Express, saying Dyer makes “a lot of money.”
