These people think there is a cult following of Trump

And today it's you Republicans who argue for Robert E Lee. The question is, when did you and your family stop being a Democrat?

Lee was a DemoKKKrat. Of course. Just like this guy.

It's always 1860 in the DemoKKKrat party.

Most Southern Congressmen were conservative Democrats and they usually worked with conservative Republicans.[92] The result was a conservative coalition that blocked practically all liberal domestic legislation from 1937 to the 1970s

Then-vice president Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as the new president. Johnson, heir to the New Deal ideals, broke the conservative coalition in Congress and passed a remarkable number of laws, known as the Great Society. Johnson succeeded in passing major civil rights laws that restarted racial integration in the South.

After Harry Truman's platform gave strong support to civil rights and anti-segregation laws during the 1948 Democratic National Convention, many Southern Democratic delegates decided to split from the party and formed the "Dixiecrats", led by South Carolina governor Strom Thurmond (who as Senator would later join the Republican Party).
You are one stupid fool, you don't know shit about history. The Republicans are the ones who helped Johnson pass the civil rights laws. Too poor to pay attention in school?

Yea yea we know this history. But there is a part of history you are leaving out.

Do you know the first major incident that got blacks to start leaving the party of Lincoln? It was long before the Civil Rights. Google the Great Mississippi Flood in the 1920's. Republicans treated blacks very badly and lied to them. Forced them at gunpoint to work at fixing the levy. That was the first major incident in the 1900's but many more would follow that turned Southern Democrats into Republicans today and blacks into Democrats.

And you don't know this history? Liar.

He was a classic DemoKKKrat - racist, ignorant, closed-minded, angry, etc.
“You want to know what this war on drugs was really all about? The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying?

We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news.

Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

~ John Ehrlichman, Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs under President Richard Nixon
