True. It's interesting to see how various religions moved away from human sacrifice. I remember reading somewhere that the Hebraic story of Abraham and Isaac was a pointer to just that, that human sacrifice was no longer necessary. I don't know of any contemporary religions that require human sacrifice. I would think that would be illegal in most states.

But the point still stands that religion used to require human sacrifice in some religions. So in that religion, in that culture, in that society, human sacrifice was seen as being moral. Religion has a strong influence on us as humans, any act can be deemed moral if those in powerful religious positions say it is.

What happens to the general account of History when possible Schizophrenia is added into the equation?

This is a classic pro-homosexual strawman argument, the bible never says homosexuals can never be forgiven by God and neither do most Christians and or those who identify as Christians ever state that nonsense you just stated. The Bible makes it perfectly clear that all sins can be forgiven, but people must repent and disavow and stop committing sins. Homosexuals have no plans to repent of their sins, they've created a movement to advance it instead and want to brainwash people into believing that the God the Merciful is just like the liberals here on earth. They believe that God accepts their sinful behavior as ok because God loves everyone, but apparently these gays don't understand a damn thing about what the true love of God is, they've twisted to mean that God's loves mean accepting sinful behavior and all kinds of sexuallly free lifestyles.

One fiction book made a great analogy of the "god-life" relationship, god was the captain of a craft in a much larger universe, ours was some flotsam which showed the potential for life, so he put the spark in. "Satan" was the engineer of said craft, who wanted to dominate the life our universe had and god told him to leave us to our own devices, to see if we could become like them. Neither was truly male or female, and the rest of the "crew" on the craft were the same. "Demons at Rainbow Bridge" ... good book.
