The "Wall" as a mindset.

It doesnt look like he will get this built. But there is a huge appetite in some quarters for this.

Is the idea of a wall a Christian concept ?

Should there be haves and have nots ?
Why dont you worry about your shithole country and leave the USA alone.

Of course there should be haves and have-nots. How, in the absence of the latter, should the virtuous haves distinguish themselves from the filthy, deplorable have-nots? Moreover, the very concept of sharing with the have-nots pertains to heavenly Elysium. Real-world, down-to-earth Christians know the concept is abhorrent to Christianity, and so is the notion of have-nots showing up at our doorsteps with their hand out. Better they die at the southern side of the wall, out of earshot, and out of sight, from dehydration and exhaustion. Really, no decent person should be treated to something so unsightly, for their holy soul would be disturbed by the imagery.

Its a state of mind.
And that state of mind is fear, ignorance, bigotry, and hate.

We know for a fact that there will be no contiguous ‘wall’ from San Diego to Brownsville.

We know for a fact that such a ‘wall’ will fail to prevent migrants, refugees, and immigrants from entering the country.

We know for a fact that that such a ‘wall’ will be a criminal waste of time, money, and resources.

Yet most on the right continue to advocate for a ‘wall’ – the consequence of their monumental ignorance and stupidity, and their blind fear and hate.

You filth know so much that isn't so.

In Fiscal Year (FY) 2018, 396,579 aliens were apprehended between POEs on the southwest border. Thus far this fiscal year, more than 100,000 aliens have been apprehended between POEs along the southwest border. In addition, we have seen a stark increase in the number of family units apprehended between our POEs on the southwest border. Combined with the recent arrival of the Central American caravans—which have combined into one of unprecedented size— the flows of illegal entries between ports of entry demonstrate significant challenges in securing our border. Our border security efforts have three primary components: personnel, technology, and infrastructure.

Infrastructure Tactical infrastructure, including physical barriers and complementary capabilities, has long been a critical component of CBP’s multi-layered and risk-based approach to securing our southern border.

Between Ports of Entry The land along the border between the United States and Mexico is extremely diverse, consisting of desert landscape, mountainous terrain, and urban areas. Today, we have several types of barriers, including steel bollard and levee wall, along nearly one-third, or 654 miles, of the Southern border. The recently passed Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 supports CBP’s mission through investments in border infrastructure and related technology, to include $1.4 billion for the largest investment in border wall in more than a decade. We are eagerly putting this funding to work to improve our nation’s security, and encourage Congress to continue to support investments in the high-priority border wall system.

If you read fully they need more towers and infrastructure to help find illegals at long range.......and they need better facilities at POE's to handle the numbers coming across...............said they were not set up properly for post 9/11 needs......

No........it's a NATION thing.............Security and such...........You have a problem with NATIONALISM...........and your in Britain.......surrounded by the Ocean.......so you don't need a wall there.

If we need walls to protect us from the consequences of our actions then surely we should address those actions that cause that need ?
It is not our fault that countries south of our borders are dead broke and everyone wants to leave.........as far as the drugs the habits here are the problem providing the market......

It's about the numbers South of the border that could come if encouraged..........about 396000 apprehended last year........at least that many or more got across...............it's a flood and it needs to end.......a wall is a tool to help stop them from sneaking over........as are high tech equipment and manpower.

Wow oh Wow!!!!

Look at what you wrote:

It is not our fault that countries south of our borders are dead broke and everyone wants to leave.........as far as the drugs the habits here are the problem providing the market......

You could almost write that about some places here. Watch:

It is not our fault that Southern Red States are dead broke and everyone wants to leave.........as far as the drugs and the habits, they are the problem and providing the market......

See what I'm saying?
