Dear Lord Rothschild,

I have much pleasure in conveying to you. on behalf of His Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet

His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.

I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.

UN Resolution 181, 1947

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 called for the partition of the British-ruled Palestine Mandate into a Jewish state and an Arab state. It was approved on November 29, 1947 with 33 votes in favor, 13 against, 10 abstentions and one absent..

Independent Arab and Jewish States and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem, set forth in Part III of this Plan, shall come into existence in Palestine two months after the evacuation of the armed forces of the mandatory Power has been completed but in any case not later than 1 October 1948. The boundaries of the Arab State, the Jewish State, and the City of Jerusalem shall be as described in Parts II and III below…

B. THE JEWISH STATE

The north-eastern sector of the Jewish State (Eastern Galilee) is bounded on the north and west by the Lebanese frontier and on the east by the frontiers of Syria and Trans-jordan. It includes the whole of the Huleh Basin, Lake Tiberias, the whole of the Beisan Sub-District, the boundary line being extended to the crest of the Gilboa mountains and the Wadi Malih. From there the Jewish State extends north-west, following the boundary described in respect of the Arab State. The Jewish section of the coastal plain extends from a point between Minat El-Qila and Nabi Yunis in the Gaza Sub-District and includes the towns of Haifa and Tel-Aviv, leaving Jaffa as an enclave of the Arab State. The eastern frontier of the Jewish State follows the boundary described in respect of the Arab State.

The Beersheba area comprises the whole of the Beersheba Sub-District, including the Negeb and the eastern part of the Gaza Sub-District, but excluding the town of Beersheba and those areas described in respect of the Arab State. It includes also a strip of land along the Dead Sea stretching from the Beersheba-Hebron Sub-District boundary line to ‘Ein Geddi, as described in respect of the Arab State.

The area comprising the present Jewish state encompasses most of the land given to all of Israel. The Jews alone have reclaimed this land. However, the material promises given to Israel, of great wealth and power, were never realized in the land of Canaan. They must be found elsewhere.

The wealth referred to takes place in the last days, not in Solomon's time.

22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel.

25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Lincoln expressed validation and gratitude for these blessings in this speech.

According to Mohammed the Palestinians are squatters on land God gave to the Jews.

The only Palestinian of note was Eusebius. In the fourth century he wrote a history of Christianity.

Thank you for this. I knew of course of the Balfour Declaration, the U.N. resolution following the attempted extermination of Jews by Hitler, and of course the Bible verses in which Gd grants Jews the land of Israel.

What I did NOT know is that the Quran itself acknowledges that Gd - who is referred to as Allah, but it’s the same Gd - granted the land to Jews. This alone would make a great thread: Why are the antisemitic Arabs trying to send Israel into the sea, and why does antisemitic Iran have missiles saying “Death to Israel” when the Quran says Gd gave her to the Jews?

Anti Jewish Muslims, like other Jew haters, resent Jewish success. Unless an Arab or an Iranian owns land with oil under it the Arab or Iranian is likely to be poor. Arabs and Iranians are not known to be great inventors and entrepreneurs. The only thing anyone wants to buy from them is petroleum. This is discovered and drilled by machines invented in the West. It is used to fuel automobiles invented in the West.
