Had Trump and his supporters been more politically sophisticated and astute, however, Trump would have acknowledged the fact the majority of Americans didn’t want him as president, that his position on the issues was contrary to that of most Americans, and he should have governed accordingly.

Instead Trump recklessly and inappropriately pursued an agenda a majority of the American people opposed, and he’s suffering the consequence of that – we can only hope he fails to win reelection in 2020.
