If you look at the past 20-plus years of American politics — the Clinton embarrassments (and later the Hillary embarrassments), the Bush-Cheney wars, the horrible reign of Barack Obama — wouldn't you have wanted to avoid a lot of it? yep...duped. & a little FYI, both my sisters voted for trump. one was more for the racist reasons.... looking down instead of up for a lot of their problems & the other for very religious reasons. but both definitly because they really hate hillary that much & despite knowing what a vile creature trump is & has been for decades, including being putin's bitch - they would rather him be in the white house than a clinton.

Again speaking for my dad, who lost 90% of his family in WW2, is bilingual, dual PhDs in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, still working today at 78, chose to vote for Trump. He was neither duped nor conned. He is a good guy, intelligent and well spoken. He just disagrees with you politically. Your posts illustate how disrespectful you are to him and people like him.
