My own ancestry is as muddled as that of the most wretched street mutt, but the one nationality that is definable that influenced my Yoot is that of an Irish Catholic. I was raised in my Grandmother's house, in the Irish-Catholic tradition. My maternal line goes back to County Cork, in the 1850's. I have a prominent tattoo of the cross that graces the top of this thread.

But I can't think of a single good quality that is common to the couple dozen actual Irishmen that I've known over the years.
