This escalation is fairly recent. I am thinking Ginsberg must be on her last legs and they are getting nervous. Their threats are bluster at the moment...it presumes the "fear, uncertainty and doubt" campaign will be successful and Trump turned out. They have no power to influence the Supreme Court but marxists always "act as if".

The numbers on the Court have been changed a few times to give the Court to the political party in power. The first was by our second president, Adams so that Jefferson could not make an appointment.
