The damage done by the New Partisans

Well, we've had presidents with business experience before. It didn't work out for us very well..

History Shows Businessmen Make Bad Presidents
LOL, yeah, it's working out so well now.
As a matter of fact, it is. Do you remember 2008 and losing 750,000 jobs a month? Did you know that the United States is experiencing the longest streak of private job growth since it's been recorded? How about that Dow...what was it when President Obama took office?
Bush wasn't responsible for Democrat spending when Pelosi came in and Reed rubber stamped the bills. Bush signed too much, hardly a fiscal conservative but obama has spent much more, so there goes that point. The DOW doesn't reflect out 18+ trillion dollar debt. The interest alone is a killer.

If you think the job market is doing well you are very out of touch. A bunch of part time jobs don't make up for good jobs gone forever. You can that the Republican house for us not going over the cliff. obama thinks we can spend out way into prosperity.

Only libs think this is a good thing:

This began with Democrats, of course. I could tick off examples of Democrats demonizing Republicans for the last 10 years and exhaust the server space on this forum. We have never seen the level of lying and vitriol against Democrats by the GOP that we saw in, say, Alan Grayson's "Republicans want you to die quickly" speech on healthcare.
And Dems arent trustworthy in the least. Bush wanted the No Child Left Behind act passed. He left it up to Ted Kennedy to write. Kennedy wrote it and then denounced it on the floor of the Senate as being not generous enough.
You cannot work with people like that. You can only destroy them in every possible way. Democrats are the ISIS of the political scene.

Hahaha. In reality the divide gained its vitriol in 1996 with the launch of Faux News a network at its core, "is a giant soundstage created to mimic the look and feel of a news operation, cleverly camouflaging political propaganda as independent journalism."

The quote is "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". It was a call to public service - for young people to give back to the country which has given them so much. It had nothing to do with "fiscal responsibility" or being given free stuff. You Conservatives keep trying to claim JFK as one of your own and he wasn't.

Furthermore, JFK would be appalled at today's Democratic Party because it has moved so far to the right. That was Clinton's doing. He recognized that in order to get elected, Democrats had to claim the center ground which is where most of the electorate lives. Democrats moved to the right to get Clinton elected, and in response, the Republicans have moved further to the right.

Obama is a right-wing president, by any definition you might want to make. Even Obamacare gives the insurance business a strong boost, as opposed to a public option. The deregulation of Wall Street hasn't been repealed, nor the Patriot Act. The US is still heavily embroiled in the Middle East. At least Obama has wisely kept the US from getting involved in more expensive and wasteful wars.
Yes, I know what the quote is, was it necessary to you to do the whole thing? The fiscal responsibility was his tax cuts. Two concepts there, sorry if I overloaded your brainpower!

The Democrats have been hijacked by leftist progressive and wouldn't recognize it. You are on powerful hallucinogens.

You mean Kennedy's proposed 'demand side' tax cuts based on the Keynesian theory that public consumption spurs economic activity?

Are you talking about John F. Kennedy, the President who proposed and or planned the following:

Medicare
Civil Rights
The War on Poverty

A big part of LBJ's Great Society was started by President Kennedy and the New Frontier.
Do some research. The Republicans supported the Civil Rights Act and Democrats had to be drug into it. Nixon started the EPA. Tax cuts are tax cuts, you think JFK's are good but the Republican's are bad. You have a toggle switch for a brain.

Maybe you need to do real research and stop parroting faux news...

President John F. Kennedy PROPOSED the Civil Rights Act. President Lyndon B. Johnson pushed the Civil Rights Act through Congress and ultimately SIGNED the Civil Rights Act. NO southern Republicans supported the Civil Rights Act, and few southern Democrats supported the Civil Rights Act.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was proposed by President Kennedy, and pushed for very hard by President Johnson. .
What with your almost demonic obsession with FOX? I don't even watch it, Retardo. Democrats held back the civil rights act, I have researched it, you can't change facts. None of that proves the Republican are far right now. Or that the right somehow opposes it? You make no sense.

Proof again that fuck ups like you had nothing when the economy collapsed and have nothing now. You couldn't get a "good" job to save your life. NO one would hire an asshole like you.

You can that the Republican house for us not going over the cliff. obama thinks we can spend out way into prosperity.

Can you write a fucking coherent sentence? I know all you post is bullshit. But could you at least make it readable bullshit?

Ah ha, losers like a Weasel haven't participated in the economic recovery under Obama. A weasel didn't have anything when the collapse happened and has accumulated nothing but hatred and vitriol since Obama was elected.

SO no the loser right wingers on here have had no benefit under Obama and think the Bush economic collapse is still underway. And for them, it is.
Your burger flipper job is too far removed from the real world to understand the economy. I am a memeber on a contractor board and all but a few hot areas are way down from what they were. I work for myself and participate in my own fortune and you are here every day crying for a minimum wage increase. So look into a mirror at who the loser is.

Wow, I typed an N that didn't make it and the whole message was lost on you! LOL. You're a fucking retard, no wonder you need a minimum wage increase!

You go on and on about Fox News being a political hack job ... And then present a Rolling Stone article as evidence.
Damn someone must have slapped you with a stupid stick this morning.

So business owners are fuckups that can't get hired? You sound like someone hurt your pussy. Really BAD.

You're right. Many of the RWs have said they have no savings, no investments, no plan for the future except to keep working until they die.

We lost a lot in the Bush crash. Thanks to Obama, we've gotten ALL of that back but we would be much better off if Bush had never been prez.

Bush caused more than 40K factories to close. Obama has created the same number of jobs Bush lost but if a Repub were elected prez, we would go right back to losing almost a million jobs a month.

Neither the US nor the world financial markets can afford another Repub president.

Difference is that Fox lies in 82% of their stories. They lie so much, it doesn't even make the news. Rolling Stone's mistake was so rare, it made all the news outlets.

And the article is true. Watch Orwell Rolls In His Grave to see Ailes and Murdoch plot to lie to America.

Logical Fallacies 101: Ad Hominem (Attack the Source)

Your attack on Fox News is no different than my attack on Rolling Stone ... And directly in context to the partisan politics discussed in this thread.
You might want to get that yawn checked out ... Sleepiness can be the sign of a concussion ... Most likely brought on by your being slapped with the stupid stick again.

.

While the Rolling Stones piece was an unflattering expose on the origins of Fox (Pseudo-News) it was not an ad hominem attack. Wake up, smell the coffee.

The article I posted indicated Rolling Stone is not interested in telling the truth ... So it doesn't matter what their article provided.
You must be putting too much whisky in your coffee.

I disagree. You attacked the source by mentioning a completely article written by a different reporter, as if the errors of the Rape story had any relevance the article about the beginning of Fox pseudo-news.

So all I have to do to discredit Faux is find one example where they not interested in telling the truth? Really?

Is it any wonder that Obama thinks that Americans need more opportunities, and Mitt Romney thinks that they get too much free stuff already? ....

obama was given things all his life, and Romney worked for the fortune he has accumulated. Your racist, class-warfare nonsense holds no water.

WHAT???

The exact OPPOSITE is true. Obama was raised by a middle class single mom and grandparents. Romney's father was the president of America Motors.

So Mitten was not a silver spooner. His dad earned the money he was giving Mitten?
You think Romney inherited all his money and never worked? Wrong.
You think Obama worked for whatever he had? Wrong.

It isnt that you dont know anything. It's that whatever you know is wrong.

No, I don't think Romney inherited all his money, but he didn't hit a home run either. He started on 3rd base.

No question Obama worked for everything he has. There was nothing to inherit from his middle class family.

As far as level of success...Barack Obama joined a group of men who include George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

Mitten joins a group that includes...Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, Thomas E. Dewey and Alfred M. Landon
You're a moron.
Romney started asa middle class/upper middle class guy. He became extremely wealthy by hard work and being smart. Of course that ought to be a recommendation but for low achievement losers like you it is cause for envy.
Obama didnt work for anything. Who paid his tuition in college and law school? Oops, we dont know. Those records are sealed. Wonder why?
Who gave Obama his job as community organizer?
Who put Obama up for state senate?
What role did Tony Rezko play in all this?
Romney was a successful governor and businessman. Obama has failed at every job he ever had.

Are you a top 1% investor that the Dow has made you wealthy?
No?
OK then.
How about flat levels of household income, flat levels of household wealth, and the fact we are probably entering a period of stagflation?
That's Bush's fault, right?

It's funny how the left constantly harps on the good jobs going overseas, the rich getting richer, the middle class being destroyed, the poor getting poorer, but we are in the obama recovery.

I can't wrap my mind around it.
