The damage done by the New Partisans

Is it any wonder that Obama thinks that Americans need more opportunities, and Mitt Romney thinks that they get too much free stuff already? ....

obama was given things all his life, and Romney worked for the fortune he has accumulated. Your racist, class-warfare nonsense holds no water.

WHAT???

The exact OPPOSITE is true. Obama was raised by a middle class single mom and grandparents. Romney's father was the president of America Motors.

So Mitten was not a silver spooner. His dad earned the money he was giving Mitten?
You think Romney inherited all his money and never worked? Wrong.
You think Obama worked for whatever he had? Wrong.

It isnt that you dont know anything. It's that whatever you know is wrong.

No, I don't think Romney inherited all his money, but he didn't hit a home run either. He started on 3rd base.

No question Obama worked for everything he has. There was nothing to inherit from his middle class family.

As far as level of success...Barack Obama joined a group of men who include George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

Mitten joins a group that includes...Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, Thomas E. Dewey and Alfred M. Landon
You're a moron.
Romney started asa middle class/upper middle class guy. He became extremely wealthy by hard work and being smart. Of course that ought to be a recommendation but for low achievement losers like you it is cause for envy.
Obama didnt work for anything. Who paid his tuition in college and law school? Oops, we dont know. Those records are sealed. Wonder why?
Who gave Obama his job as community organizer?
Who put Obama up for state senate?
What role did Tony Rezko play in all this?
Romney was a successful governor and businessman. Obama has failed at every job he ever had.

Romney is in the same category as another Governor of Massachusetts...

Yes Obama is in the same category as Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Herbert Hoover, and Warren Harding.
Romney is in the same category as Bill Gates abd Andrew Carnegie.

While the Rolling Stones piece was an unflattering expose on the origins of Fox (Pseudo-News) it was not an ad hominem attack. Wake up, smell the coffee.

The article I posted indicated Rolling Stone is not interested in telling the truth ... So it doesn't matter what their article provided.
You must be putting too much whisky in your coffee.

.

Or.....no coffee with his whisky.....more likely the problem......

This began with Democrats, of course. I could tick off examples of Democrats demonizing Republicans for the last 10 years and exhaust the server space on this forum. We have never seen the level of lying and vitriol against Democrats by the GOP that we saw in, say, Alan Grayson's "Republicans want you to die quickly" speech on healthcare.
And Dems arent trustworthy in the least. Bush wanted the No Child Left Behind act passed. He left it up to Ted Kennedy to write. Kennedy wrote it and then denounced it on the floor of the Senate as being not generous enough.
You cannot work with people like that. You can only destroy them in every possible way. Democrats are the ISIS of the political scene.

So the reasoning here is: They started it first.
Are you eight years old or what?

Don't forget bill ayers and bernadine dohrn......the domestic, terrorists bombers who launched obama's political career here in Illinois...

The above post reflects the problem.
It's always "the other side that does it". This type of comment reflects what the outcome of partisan indoctrination does to simple-minded folks. They never question their ideology, they just skip along happily to whatever they are told. The dumbing-down process has been completed.
It's a Big World out there, some people just can't adjust or refuse to adjust to the vastness of ideas and solutions. It's always, just one way for them.

No that would be Faux News 80% of the time.

Yeah, you go with your BS, it has gotten us so far in dialogue.

FoxNews has less than 1% of the entire American audience and yet they have so much power, the logic is mind numbing.

Partisan nutters like yourself and other extreme leftys and rightys are the problem, no one else.

There was always partisanship in politics but the truly vitriolic rhetoric started in 1996 thanks to the propaganda agenda of Faux's Phony News.

Cool you go with that, less than 1% of the population created the whole mess we have today. I seem to remember a lot of the vitriol over Reagan and the Democrats being petty then.

You are entitled to your own opinion no matter how stupid it sounds. 1% of the population control 99% of the political rhetoric and the poor Dems are just the innocent victims. LOL!

The above represents the phenomenon of "They all do it", the usual excuse offered by Democrats when one of their own has done something horrible Clinton lied under oarth. They all do it. Obama ordered the IRS to suppress TP groups ahead of the election. They all do it. Holder let guns into Mexico in some stupid scheme that got a US agent killed. They all do it. It is their ready made excuse, along with "September was a long time ago," and "what difference does it make at this point?".
Are Republicans perfect? Clearly not, But they dont begin to rise to the level of personal destruction that Democrats do.

Were the Democrats able to compromise with Republicans under Raygun? Never said anything about Democrats being the victim, seems to me they gave almost as good as they got back to Bush, until the 911 event brought most of the country together. Then of course the right wing echo chamber went absolute batshit crazy when it appeared Obama was going to beat Hilary. They've been driving all the years since in batshit crazy mode too.

You just blew your whole point. Thanks.

Oh I agree the Dems pull some real shit but then I'm not a Democrat, I'm a Independent voting moderate. You say "they do it all", well guess what? So does your party. You are so controlled by your ideology you have the inability to see the entire picture.
And that's problem I see with you and hyper-partisans (from both sides of the aisle) you never look critically at your own party/ideologically. You just point fingers at the opposition, it's easier and that's the way you're trained..

No, they dont all do it. Democrats are scum. I am sure Edgetho will be along to confirm this. Yeah Republicans can do some mean, boneheaded things sometimes. It happens. People are people. BUt nowhere near the mean nasty destructive shit that Democrats do. Take Harry Reid. Please.
