there is some truth to that, though i think it may be somewhat overstated. The problem is that when you have a purported movement that's based largely in anger and foot-stomping and anti-intelletualism, it's difficult to approach problems in an intelligent fashion. instead you get a visceral response which is, in fact, the way children are more likely to show their dissatisfaction. And some have, indeed, been unhinged because they know that is the best way to rev up their troops.

Again, that is a partial truth. I think we are in the position of an employer with a recalcitrant destructive employee who wont follow instructions. We try every possible means to get them to listen to the boss, and soon they will be fired.

They do things we don't want done in ways that expose us to enormous expense and are illegal, and then they call us "Childish" when we call them out on it and yell at them about it. We can't call them "fired" soon enough.

Serilously, Jillian, if you had a law clerk who insisted on typing your legal filings on pink paper and translating everything into esperanto and using only fibonacci numbers on the paperwork, how long would you keep him?
