The answer is easy: Armed guards at schools

The White House: defended with military
Congress: armed guards
Banks: armed guards
Police Station: armed officers
Etc…

Schools: unguarded, allow shooters to roam school for 15 minutes murdering passive poorly hid children until police arrive

Arm the schools
AM not saying you are wrong,
but think about it, What the hell is going on in Our country
That we are even talking about Armed guards in our schools?

Seems like common sense to me, especially with social media, MSM, and big tech etc keeping our kids wired, scared, angry, jealous, etc, desperate for attention even if wanting to die, along with starting dopamine addictions.

So in other words ban all semi-auto firearms?

It's maybe a bit more nuanced than that. Limits to the number of rounds in a magazine would help, IMO. I would go back to the Brady Bill restrictions as well, but would also put funding into gun buybacks - tax rebates/credits if nothing else.

I finally decided if they won't make change after babies shot so violently in SandyHook, they're beyond help! :heehee:
Sandy Hook was caused by a young man with a history of mental illness that was ignored by his mother. He killed her to gain access to her guns. He then proceeded to the school to carry out his massacre. What law would have prevented that from happening?

When was America "mostly conservative", exactly?

It should point out we had a HIGHER murder rate in this country in the good old days of the 1920s.

Then we passed sensible gun laws like the Firearms Act of 1934.

Only to his family... Get real, if we loved our kids, we'd have sensible gun laws.

But we love our guns more.
Like Canada's?

Yet oddly, Germany, France, Canada, the UK, Japan, etc. all do some version of my plan, and have nowhere near our problems with murder.
Japan doesn't have guns to any extent. What causes their high number of suicides?

Sensible gun laws. Lol

That's an easy true, but it's not the correct answer.

The correct answer is to have a society where we don't need armed guards at schools. Just like how it was when I was a kid.

The answer isn't more guards, less guns, more rules or anything. The answer is find out what's changed in America in the past 30 years and removing it or fixing it.

Armed guards in school isn't the right answer because that's just a reaction to nutballs and criminals. The right answer is to get rid of the nutballs and criminals, not adapt to them.
We would have to get back to being a moral country. You see that happening?

And frankly, not so bad, considering what they were rightfully upset about.

And there you go. hundreds of riots injuring thousands of people killing dozens doing billions in damage is justified in your mind over some drug bust felony gone bad by a career criminal trying to resist arrest!

GUESS WHAT, DUMMASS?! Likewise and far more was J6 likewise justified when the police there instigated the whole thing to a crowd who up to that point were peacefully standing around protesting the stealing of a national election, about a million times more important than Floyd!

Thank you for finally seeing that, justifying it and admitting that the protesters at the capitol, the lions share of which did nothing but walk around were completely within their rights as well. You might even say that J6 was frankly, not so bad, considering what they were rightfully upset about.

Well, a thorough background check would have done that. If they had done a background check into Nancy's home life and found she was a crazy prepper with a psycho kid, maybe they wouldn't had sold her enough guns to fight off the Zombie Apocolypse.

Equally, if there was a law that allowed people to sue gunmakers for reckless endangerment of the public, maybe they'd change their ways. IN this case, that's exactly what happened, Remington paid a $73 million dollar settlement with the parents of the kids killed.

If that happened all the time, the gun industry would either clean up its act, or go out of business, and frankly, I'm fine with either.

Great, `so our educational system gets to appear like our penal system

THINK what that is imparting.......

Um, yeah, murdering someone over a petty offense that probably wouldn't have merited him a fine is just crazy. And that's been happening for years in this country, until Black people got fed up with it.

GUESS WHAT, DUMMASS?! Likewise and far more was J6 likewise justified when the police there instigated the whole thing to a crowd who up to that point were peacefully standing around protesting the stealing of a national election, about a million times more important than Floyd!

They weren't peacefully standing around. They stormed the capitol, injured hundreds of officers, five people died. There was absolutely NO good reason for that to happen. We had an election. Trump lost. By 8 million voters. The fundamental foundation of our democracy is that if you lose, you are a good sport about it. It simply cannot function any other way.

The lions share of them aren't being charged. Certainly not the ones who stayed outside. The ones who stormed it are. The people who organized and instigated it (namely Trump) should also be charged.
