Woman's ovarian cyst 'weight of seven newborn babies'

Doctors kept telling her she was pregnant.

BUT IT WAS FREE DOCTOR VISITS!!!

Woman's cyst 'weight of seven babies'

So she finally went to a doctor, who referred her to a specialist, and she got the problem solved...

Not seeing a problem here.

American system... Insurance would have called the cyst removal an "elective" procedure or a "pre-existing condition" and refused to remove it.

When did she pass out at her work, and when did she have the ultrasound? I see the articles didn't say when she passed out , was it in Dec 2016? , and she had the ultrasound last year in Jan. (
Still believing Ms Favell to be pregnant, her GP referred her for an ultrasound scan in January last year
, so Jan 2017)

Yet you guys try so hard to discredit universal healthcare and yet you never can.

My BFF has lived in London since 1998. She is a type 1 diabetic and had one of her ovaries removed. She was accurately diagnosed in the UK after being misdiagnosed here. She has been trying to move home for about 10 years but can't currently because she can't afford the insulin out of pocket. Frankly, she is over trying to teach people how to spell center (centre).

You can also buy private healthcare in the UK, so there’s no problem. And better than our private only system.

You can only buy it if you have the money.

The NHS is desperately underfunded. And never more so than in the care of the elderly. With a rapidly aging population, and we'll all be old one day, the way our western societies treat the old and infirm is quite disgraceful.

It seems dementia is the price to pay for living a long life.

You can only buy healthcare in the US if you have money. So still better in the UK.

You can buy things without money?

Reminded me of all the years I spent in England, paying into the healthcare system there, and hardly ever using it; doctors, hospitals etc.

So basically, I was paying for everybody else.
In Canada it simply comes out of general tax revenues. AND you can buy private health care if you want. So again, better than the US system.

You can buy private healthcare if you can afford it.
