In the next few days Republicans will be screaming that they’ll protect pre-existing conditions, and you’ll hear a series of lies about new plans that offer everything and will cost almost nothing.

And the Democrats will now be emboldened to do what they’ve been trying to do since Harry Truman, real universal health care for all.

Another stupid article, the Republicans sure didn't lose the house because of Obama care .

Actually I DO want for the right wingers to repeal the ACA........As Napoleon is reported to have said......."When your enemy is about to commit suicide.... don't get in his way."

“Could a federal judge in Texas be the catalyst that finally brings down the Affordable Care Act, a law that has withstood countless assaults from Republicans in Congress and two Supreme Court challenges?

On the morning after Judge Reed O’Connor’s startling ruling that struck down the landmark health law, legal scholars were doubtful.

Lawyers on both sides of previous A.C.A. battles said the reasoning behind this one was badly flawed, notably in its insistence that the entire 2010 law must fall because one of its provisions may have been rendered invalid by the 2017 tax overhaul legislation. Had Congress meant to take such radical action, they said, it would have said so at the time.

Legal experts also noted that the Supreme Court, where most people believe the case is headed, historically has been reluctant to strike down federal laws, particularly those that have become ingrained in the lives of millions of citizens.”

In fact, it’s unlikely the case will heard by the Supreme Court if the appellate court’s ruling has the effect of upholding the Act.

That's got to be one of the funniest things I've heard on this forum. 3.2 Trillion dollars a year, who the hell is going to pay for it, Mexico?

So you think the courts will continue to ignore the Constitution? The law should have been stricken the first time it was heard. There was no clause to allow severance if any portion was found unconstitutional. This judge is following the law on that.

I don't think Roberts has the balls to admit his mistakes, he'll probably vote with the commies to strike down this decision.
