Perry said his focus will be on the need to fight Mexican drug cartels and crime over the issue of the surge in unaccompanied minors crossing into the U.S. in recent months.


"The price of inaction is too high," Perry said, announcing the deployment as part of Operation "Strong Safety."

Naw, he doesn't! That would be a very hard sell under ANY scenario. What he cares about is the fear that some of those refugee children will be allowed to stay and one day grow up and vote Democratic. That's what he's really afraid of, now let's just call a spade a spade.

It would be a terrible miscarriage of justice to send in Armed Troopers to the border all under the pretense that it's actually cartels, etc. they're after. If it was actually that, why didn't dingbat Perry do that months and months ago when the cartels were at the height of their season? No. He did nothing. But now that these innocent children are coming into Texas he suddenly has to bring in the Big Guns to protect the children from the cartels? What A Crock! Go tell that one to a pre-schooler. I mean, he doesn't even know how to frame his story so it will stick well. What a shame.

It's good this is his last term and he will be out soon. And did you hear just how much it is costing those poor Texans to foot the bill like Perry wants? Millions upon Millions of $$$$$$$ dollars that could go to better use like schools, education, environmental causes, cleaner water, better road and bridge repairs, highway repair, etc. but the Republican priority we know isn't in those things. No. It is in going after poor little innocent children who are frightened by what they are seeing in their own country that they have fled over here for a chance at mercy and a new start. But Perry wants none of that. Is he even a Christian? Would Christ approve of Perry's plans? I not only think not. I Know not.
