Make our children proud of who they are, and what they are. And teach them that differences of opinion does not divide you! That your fellow countrymen are like your brothers and sisters. And brothers and sisters do not always agree, but they always look out for each other.
TEACH UNITY and PRIDE.
There is only one country where you live, and that country is America. And you should be proud to be in that country.
There is one flag, the American flag. And it is hung in every single classroom. And it is the only flag we assemble in front of.
We are all Americans, you are not a Latin-American, you are not African-Americans. There is only one team - the American team. And your number one priority as an American is how you can make your country better. How your generation can continue to strive to right the wrongs, and continue to keep America the great country it is.
But instead, kids are taught by the education system and the media/entertainment industry that America is fundamentally flawed. That to show pride for your country is wrong, and excludes others. They are taught to divide each other along political and ideological sides...and the other side is terrible and "not one of us". They are taught that you either belong to the privileged group, or the victim group..and if you can find a victim group, then you really belong...otherwise you are one of the privileged and should give special consideration to all of the victims this flawed country allows.
MAKE KIDS PROUD TO BE WHO THEY ARE, AND THE COUNTRY THEY LIVE IN.
