Go look at median wait times in these countries see how long it takes from MD-Specialist-Surgery, or even a wait time on an MRI or Cat-Scan

- Access to neonatal care

These are the programs that get skipped when they are not covered or patients need to dig deep into their pockets to pay for them.

I had a total knee reconstruction done a few years back...tore my ACL, PCL, and MCL and lateral and media meniscus, I go tmy surgery 2 weeks after the incident...from doctor to specialist, to MRI- to surgery

I didn't say 'no'. To think that you're health care system is going to play even a large role in how long you live is ridiculous. The argument I'm making is that YOU mainly determine how long you are going to live.
- Your diet.
- Your health habits (smoking, drinking, drugs, etc.)
- Your level of exercise

A mere fraction of the population is ever threatened with a life threatening/life shortening illness or injury. If the ability to treat them went away it would still have only a minimal impact on the over all life expectancy of the whole country. The above factors are what will really be the greatest factor in how long you live.

People point to a lower life expectancy and try to twist into being evidence that we need UHC. Except the health care system has nothing to do with one's CHOICE to smoke, drink excessively or do drugs. It has nothing to do with the level of obesity in this country. The things YOU do will ultimately play the largest role in how long you live.
