I don't think I have been turned into anything, really. All my life, I have been anti-authoritarian and in favor of people doing their own thing as long as it does not cause harm to others.

In the seventies and eighties, that made me more of a liberal, as the the most authoritarian political movements then were from now the right. Today, that makes me mre conservative by defaut as the the most authoritarian movement we have ever experienced in this country is now definitely coming from the left.
