Oh I'm sure the med companies will love this, passing the cost to the patient on Medicare, Part D is a disaster unless one is on a generic drug. He thinks insurers can better negotiate prices, the free market, just like what is happening with net neutrality.

The federal government currently pays providers 6% more than the average price of those medicines. This also gives manufactures the incentive to raise prices and gives providers the incentive to select more expensive medicines. Among the ideas under consideration by the Trump administration are moving Part B coverage into the Part D program, where insurers can better negotiate prices, and requiring manufacturers to provide more accurate sales data to make sure they don't exclude discounts.

And

Part B covers most drugs administered by your provider or at a dialysis facility, but the provider or facility must buy and supply the drugs. Part B also covers some outpatient prescription drugs, mainly certain oral cancer drugs (chemotherapy). Outpatient drugs previously paid for by Part B will continue to be paid for by Part B. Part D cannot pay for any of your drugs that are covered by Part B. (unless Trump changes it)

You mean the Part B that all but 9 Democrats voted against? That part B?

Prescription Drug Bill: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

If anything proves that Democrats are at least as bad and probably worse than Republicans then Part B makes that case. After claiming for fifty years that only Democrats cared about Seniors all but 9 in the House Of Representatives voted against the prescription drug plan. It showed what was true then, and is true today. Democrats exist solely to oppose Republicans. If the Republicans came out with a program for free medical for the poor the Democrats would oppose it. If Republicans moved to legalize Marijuana then Democrats would argue it would endanger our kids.

Democrats lost the moral right to say one fucking thing about the Drug plan when they voted in mass to oppose it. Oh and if you want to know why the traditional Democratic voters abandoned the party, look at the record of the Party abandoning them.

You mean Part D. I wish they would of stomped Bush's Part D down, you should see it today. Then again we now have the Humana's of the US, which is a joke , which is a real drain on Medicare, but that is the wave of Medicare, make it all privatized.

Once Medicare is privatized, watch out.

By the way what is Trump care??? That's right, get a job that co shares or frinkin cover the cost yourself or go without.

I don't understand your frustration. I mean, this is what you all want, right? Government telling us how it's going to be?
