Those commercial buildings actually contribute to society .... property taxes, providing places of work, sale and resale etc... UNLIKE those students who took out loans to study some social studies major and take some job working for the government or state on the taxpayer dime..

What I don't understand is why the delinquent loans aren't simply sent to Treasury. That way they can at least rake back any federal tax refund or other federal payments they might get till it's paid off. It's done all the time in the case of delinquent FEMA loans.

Even the Trump and Biden Covid Bucks were raked back.....Whoo! You should have heard the rending of garments over that one.
