Semite is not a race, you doofus. It is a family of languages. Europeans borrowed the name of Biblical Shem, son of Noah, to paint Jews as hailing from a non-European race. Hence the term antisemitism was coined, and it exclusively means anti-Jewish. Still, "Semite"

wastes no time in appropriating injustice that befell that Jews and using it immunize himself against showing Jews even more hate.

If you want to show kinship between Arabs and Hebrews, it has to be either Eber or Abraham, and both are Biblical characters with a lot of legend and little verifiable history.

If they supported Palestinians, they would be protesting how Lebanon mistreats its Palestinians.

if they supported Palestinians, they would have been protesting Syrian bombardment and starvation of Yarmouk.

If they supported Palestinians, they would be protesting Egypt for refusing to admit the thousands of Gazans who desperately want to go there (search for "escape Gaza" on GoFundMe.)

If they supported Palestinians, they would have condemned Hamas for dragging Gazan into this war to begin with.

There is no "pro-Palestinian" movement. There is only an anti-Israel movement.

And when you ask the question of why Israel and no one else, then you can start to see the real source of the conflict.

People say they are sick and tired of accusations of antisemitism. But if you can fit these facts into a better explanation than old fashioned Jew-hatred pretending to be righteousness, I'd love to hear it.
