Just as we were about to accept incompetency as the standard for government programs, along comes Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) to remind us that it is endemic government corruption that is leading us to the demise of our First Republic (the French have had four). As the facts come out, we find that the lack of oversight of this bank was part and parcel of the Democrats' radical Green Agenda which claims to be saving the planet but is, in reality, a scheme to bilk the U.S. out of hundreds of billions of dollars for the benefit of their contributors.
SVB was one of many financial institutions who were encouraged to make huge loans to new non-credit worthy companies who promised to follow Biden's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies but had no financially sound business plans. These companies will now declare bankruptcy and never pay off their loans.
In case anyone has already forgotten, the same scheme was used to give the fake solar panel company Solyndra $500 billion in 2015, who then promptly declared bankruptcy after distributing the money to its owners. Have we sunk to the level of accepting this transparent corruption as political business as usual? Should we just refer to it as the Solyndra Solution and keep voting for the swamp people?
