Socialism is evil

When private property is eliminated, all men are slaves to the state.

Help me, if you could please

What is that term that the Left uses to describe a black person who does not vote for Democrats?
:doubt:

Republican

So all Republicans are black

Did you know MLK was a Republican?
:eusa_whistle:

All republicans are black is stupid .. and has nothing to do with your question.

Come with me to skip through time and history.

At one time, nearly ALL African-Americans were republicans. The Republican Party was founded as an anti-slavery party.

At one time the Republican Party sort of made sense .. even up to the day of Dr. King.

One of my civil rights heroes was a conservative Senator from Illinois, Everett Dirksen .. at one time.

But that's all ancient history, altered by Nixon's southern strategy.

We return you now to the present .. where the Republican Party is a mere shadow of its former self.

which is still socialism.
Most parents school taxes paid do not come near to the actual const of educating their child. If they did people without children would not have to pay any school tax.

Not at all, it is no more "socialist" than say the military.
The free market allows for things public goods and natural monopolies.
It is nothing more than creating access to a "public good"

Granted, one could argue that it is statist but socialist, no.

It is smarter move and more market orientated than say creating a huge Federal Dep't that spends a lot of money and has little to show for it

sort of like we have now
:eusa_angel:

umm, the military is 100% socialist.

So are public schools. 100% socialist

It's a socialist nation. The rightwingers lost. Get over it!:lol::lol:

Not really Bush Jr. turned the military heavily into a PMC deal.

More proof of the quality of public education...

When public power is eliminated, all people are slaves to the corporation

exactly and big fitz quote is really just a description of communism not Socialism. I'm sorry if most right wingers think Socialism=Communism hurr durr

Karl Marx (who have heard of him -right)

Said that Socialism is the transitional stage required to get to Communism.

If act, most orthodox Marxists, socialism is the lower stage of communism

No need to thank me

The school system, and military aren't socialist. Socialism needs the workers to be the owners. For example if your company makes floor tiles-every single employee would own a equal part of the tile. They then vote on all workers of the company together. The school system and the military do not do this.

Socialism while it may be a nice idea, is not realistic. If one really reads into socialism that's probably the message you'll get-yes it would be great if we all got along, didn't need more than the other people, yadda yadda yadda-but it's not ever going to happen.

Well certain aspects of socialism and communism are the same, but the end result is different. In socialism the society as a whole decides who owns what resources, gets what they need, etc. In Communism the government decides who owns what land, and get what resources.

So MLK was right then but he would be wrong now to be a Republican?

Did you know before 1960 Blacks had a lower illegitimate rate than whites, a higher employment rate than whites and a lower divorce rate than whites

But, yeah sure is a good thing they joined the Democrats
:eusa_whistle:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Hear ye', hear ye' .. it has been so declared by black neo-confederate Walter Williams that anything designated as "public" is evil. That all the examples of socialism in America .. such as police departments, libraries, and any service that benefits actual PEOPLE, not property, is evil.

Thank you Walter (Johnny Reb) Williams.

We call them republicans.

What do you call them?

OR, they could belong to the largest group of Americans of voting age .. those that don't vote at all.

smart

Socialism doesn't require something to be owned by the workerrs. It requires public (ie throught the govt) ownership and control.

You're in denial. It has already happened. The US is a socialist nation. One of many.

Wrong. Socalism is a belief system about the role of govt. It holds that govt should be put in service to the social good. Communism is an economic system that promotes the equal ownership (by "the people") of the means of production, and the fair distribution of what's produced

How do you know I am not not now or have been a commie?

I agree with Marx 100% that socialism is ultimately a means that will lead to some type of statism

Perhaps, if you really understood what the terms socialism, free market and such really meant, you would not sound so foolish.

Using your logic, if one can call it that, Washington was a socialist because of the Whiskey Tax

Liberalsim = socialism
Socialism = involuntary servitude
Involuntary servitude = slavery
Slavery = the antithesis of liberty
Thus
Liberalism = the antithesis of Liberty.

were do you get this stuff- DNC talking points, Huff and Puff?

So now Marx, was wrong- let me guess he was a right-winger

Describing how one wants socialism to be does not make it so

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and yours sticks
