So you love socialism ?????

There are elements of "socialism" in America. Obviously. Always have been, always will be.

The question is the degree. Where we exist on the overall spectrum.

You're not "not socialist" one day, then "socialist" the next.

Conservatives are convincing people that "socialism" is good by attacking "socialist" elements that people like.

How in the world do they not see this?
.

"Socialism" is at the root of our calling ourselves UNITED States......

Good grief

Did you hear the statement from one of these people that Socialists are happier than Americans? Notice, they didn't say why, or how that is determined Sassy, lol.

How was America such evil to the USSR for sooooo long? Simple, the government controlled the press. It is said with much logic that "Glasnost" came to be with the advent of the internet. The government could not control as easy what the people seen, and they then seen America.

Iran has learned this, which is why besides our resident, Iranian, propagandist Dani, I ran controls what their people see.

So, how do these socialist countries in Europe really live? Is it true what these lefties say? They live like we do, (regular citizens)and have all the important things in life free? How big is the space they live in with their families? Do they own their own homes? How big is the family car? What do they pay to fuel it? Is their transportation mode more PUBLIC, or personal? How about the price of goods?

You see, debating which system is better without INFORMING the people of the "give and take," is no more than a red herring. Telling people what they will get for free, WITHOUT telling them how much MORE everything else will cost so as the government can siphon off the excess to pay for the supposed FREE stuff, is no debate at all. All it is is one side holding up shiny objects and proclaiming, "look at this, and ignore everything else."

I just used one example, the price of gasoline, but if you delve into the living space per person alone, Americans would flip them the fickle, finger, of fate!

Don't let these clowns get away with it. They want to show shiny objects, fine. Show everyone what the downside is by cost. Not hard, it is everywhere, lol.

Yes...we love the United States unique brand of socialism. We like collectively paying for infrastructure and safety (you know, like our police, firefighters and military). We would ALSO like to expand that unique brand of socialism to things like healthcare and education. We get the best "free" military in the world, why not the best "free" education and healthcare?
Non of those are socialist you fool

Venezuela Declares Another Emergency: It Has Run Out of Food

Venezuela’s opposition legislature has declared a “nutritional emergency,” proclaiming that the country simply does not have enough food to feed its population. The move comes after years of socialist rationing and shortages that forced millions to wait on lines lasting as long as six hours for a pint of milk, a bag of flour, or carton of cooking oil.
Opposition legislator Julio Borgesannounced the measure on Thursday, which would allow the legislature to push for more imports on basic food goods and inspect government-owned food companies to ensure they are meeting efficiency standards. “This will make corporations and expropriated lands produce food again, will simplify the process of national and foreign investment, and establish incentives for investors,” Borges promised.

Socialist party members are arguing that the decree goes beyond the scope of the power of the legislature and cannot override the executive decree President Nicolás Maduro put into motion in January, which declared an “economic emergency” and allowed the government to further intervene in private corporations. Venezuela’s Supreme Court extended the viability of the emergency decree this week, in a move many consider an attempt to keep the opposition legislature from asserting too much power over the food industry in Venezuela.

If they are doing so fine, why do some want to move?
150 Million Adults Worldwide Would Migrate to the U.S.

150 million want to move to America from their social and communist countries.
Why are we moving towards it?

Our foreign born population is 12.9%

Sweden's is 14.3.

Percentage wise, more people want to go there than here.

Only because Sweden cut back on their social programs which both of our parties refuse to do.

BULLSHIT. Sweden is much better at taking care of their citizens than we are.

They cut back. They unlike us they balanced their budget.

I did not say anything about how much better or not better they were with their social programs.
I personally would rather have what I work for rather than giving the government 57% or so of it.
That is the basic premises of what America is all about.
Low taxes, less Federal government.

The problem is that no matter whether Bernie or Hillary is elected or if Trump, Rubio, or Cruz is elected this nation is going to go into a really hard recession which will occupy the new President's time and energy. All other policy changes will need to be put on hold. This recession will be really bad.

Bullshit. Of all the things that make us Americans, those two things are way down on the list.
