So, I Guess Mishandling Classified Materials Isn't a Big Deal Anymore

haha yes dembot cultist call facts lies a lot
But they are lies. The DoJ debunked them last year.

There were no ongoing negotiations. No one from the government was allowed to look through Trump’s boxes.

struth is trolling and lying, and apparently is practicing law in violation of his state stattues.

"The necessary measure of protection for government documents and records is provided by 18 U.S.C. § 2071. Section 2071(a) contains a broad prohibition against destruction of government records or attempts to destroy such records. This section provides that whoever: willfully and unlawfully; conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates or destroys; or attempts to conceal, remove, mutilate, obliterate or destroy; or carries away with intent to conceal, remove, mutilate, obliterate or destroy; any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document or other thing deposited in any public office may be punished by imprisonment for three years, a $2, 000 fine, or both.

There are several important aspects to this offense. First, it is a specific intent crime. This means that the defendant must act intentionally with knowledge that he is violating the law. See United States v. Simpson, 460 F.2d 515, 518 (9th Cir. 1972). Moreover, one case has suggested that this specific intent requires that the defendant know that the documents involved are public records. See United States v. DeGroat, 30 F. 764, 765 (E.D.Mich. 1887)."

Then it appears that Joey Xi Bai Dung violated the tenets of the law.
No one has refuted the fact that the classified and top-secret documents found in the garage of the mansion of Biden in Delaware, or the office at Uni-Penn were unsecured and open to perusal by anyone.

Are you under the impression that “anyone” can walk into Biden’s house?

your link is to their response to a special master…um fyi a special master was granted

that doesn’t debunk anything i said

Apparently you didn’t read the legal brief.

Did you?
you mean their response to a request for a special master, that they lost?

also theh admit in your link that NA was in ongoing talks with the president…so um yeah that’s what i said

so not sure if you actually read it or even know what it is. they made a lot of claims in that brief they court rejected…namely the court didn’t have jurisdiction…since you know the court ruled against them

That is to the DOJ to decide, not the likes of you.

No, the court didn’t rule against them. The court ruled against Trump. Judge Cannon was savaged by the 3-0 appeals court decision for abandoning law and precedent.

But the point is that the DoJ lays out facts of the case, namely the FBI was not allowed to go through Trump’s records.

You’d know that if you had read the reply.

The special master was appointed inappropriately by a judge who ignored the law and precedent.

Trump can only win when the rules are ignored in his favor.

You should have read this fact in the DoJ response.

um where it states the DOJ and GBI were permitted to go to his house and look around the place? yeah

thanks for proving my post even more

... and not do a conclusive search.

Why do you ignore that the Special Master appointment by the Judge was throw out on appeal?

the NA he did.

What they were talking about there was a subsequent trip after he had already been working with the NA and send a boat load of stuff there way
So when did Trump let anyone from the government go through the boxes at Mar a Lago?

And because they concluded she wasn't grossly negligent, either. This would typically mean willfully and systemically disregarding security protocol -- much different than what Trump is accused of doing.
"Intending to" is not part of the violation just doing it does make it a crime

Let's not forget Diane Feinstein and her massive leak of extremely classified materials a half hour after extremely secret briefings. She walked out of the White house and spilled everything she just heard while still on Pennsylvania Avenue. Of course it all got published....she didn't know that only 5 people were actually in on the brief....and she was the only one spilling the beans.
