In America animation is often considered to be a children's medium however in Japan it is completely opposite. Now the US Government funded the development a graphic novel about the Korean War. What if the US Government funded the development of adult oriented animation that cover serious topics like war or politics to help change American's views on animation. How about animated science fiction?

Hillary is all for the government controlling people's viewpoints.

"...we cannot let a minority of people -- and that's what it is, it is a minority of people -- hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people" - Hillary Clinton, June 16, 2014

Wouldn't you like to see less talking animals and more fighter jets and guns in Western animation?

Here is our answer to Japanese animation.

I want animation to cover more genres like sci fi or politics rather than children's entertainment.

Well most American animation is geared toward children and as an result most people think animation is only for kids. I was told that it may take an cultural indoctrination to change people's mind. Maybe the government can fund adult oriented animated movies that cover genres such as war, politics, or science fiction.

It does all the time and that won't stop.

Who "told" you that?

Whenever a politicians makes a stump speech, he is attempting to change people's views.

"Here's what we need to do..."

Government cannot both provide liberty and indoctrinate, thus, NO.

Well, that is PRECISELY what goes on at the government schools.

After 12 years of brainwashing the victims come out believing that we are still a free country.

Not if parents teach them well.

So...you want the government to tell adults it's okay to watch cartoons, and then to MAKE those cartoons.

Kid, the government can't solve all your problems, and shouldn't even try.

Americans just don't respond to animation in the same way as the Japanese. While the government could use animation to change people's minds it is not likely that enough people would pay it much attention.
