Why would the Repub party change when they know you will vote for them even if they do not?

Change is best accomplished by primary challenges to incumbents

Except the new person will still be beholden to the same party apparatus that made the last one bad

Except that the new office holder has to answer to voters who are not satisfied with business as usual

hmmm....looking back over the past 20 to 25 years....which has the most influence?

I think right now and for many years the left and right have been equally divided

I think right now the party of the right has been following the party of the left more and more to the left.
