Scottish referendum next?

Renzi is considered a right-winger, pro-US stooge. Former Boy Scout. You haven't a clue.

You actually think The Financial Times is Left-Wing, you posted it was earlier, you're a fool as more than a few people have already told you.

Do you think Scotland will arrange a referendum now that the English handed the place to the goons? And if yes, what outcome of the Scottish referendum would be your bet?

They already agreed not to do that once. Why should they vote for something that's failed?
Because things are dramatically different now, just months after the vote

Yes there is still no North Sea Oil revenue from British wells in the North Sea that Scotland claims is theirs after redrawing the borders to their satisfaction. All they have to offer the EU is Whisky, water and Glasgow. The plans are drawn to rebuild Hadrian's wall and Offa's dyke to keep the hypocrites out of England. New attraction in England is the safari trail along the borders to show the real Highlanders and how primitive they were

If Scotland votes to be not only independent but also an Europe Union member before the uk negotiates its leave in the next two years, then will Scotland remain an EU member?

NO simply put as that would be a constitutional crime. They cant make such deals while they are still part of the Union, they have to leave before doing so, and it would be after the Union leaves the EU before the EU could agree terms. By then there could be no EU left

The EU is making special provisions for Scotland and NI to join the EU without much red tape.

And if Britain says no the EU cant do a thing as they are still part of the UNION. If they do it would be seen as an act of war and the UN would then become involved. It would be like the Russians offering New Mexico membership of the Russian federation while they are still part of the American federation

He changes his mind as often as he changes his socks, and then denies doing so after he has gone back and removed his posts. Then when you keep showing him up as a complete imbecile he puts you on ignore to save face

What nonsense you babble, Nicola Sturgeon was told no special provisions for Scotland, that was yesterday when she had her embarrassing meeting at the EU Commission and was snubbed by Donald Tusk, NI would be told the same.

You have little understanding of European politics, you should concentrate on other things, because each comment you make is more foolish than the previous comment.

Scotland will remain part of the UK.
The prospect of them simply switching from UK to EU has been shot down by Spain (and the UK wouldn't allow it anyway).
They must wait until the UK finally leaves the EU - at least 2 years before that happens - and then they must decide whether to hold another independence referendum. The choice would be: nearest friends and customers vs EU.
If they chose EU, they would have to meet all financial obligations for a new applicant and, when they do that, they would have to adopt the Euro as their currency which is already a failing currency.
They would also need to accept free movement of immigrants. So far, few immigrants have made it up to Scotland, preferring the cosier England. The prospect of thousands of immigrants flooding over their borders will scare off many voters for independence.
Add on a low oil price and the need to continue sharing their fishing waters with the rest of the EU, then Scotland will have precious little to sustain them in their quest for economic stability.
They may well end up like Greece.
Scotland's interests are best served by remaining in the UK, working towards making a bigger success of Brexit.
Once other countries in the EU that are under pressure see how well it is going, they too will call for an Exit.
The EU is doomed and the UK has shown the other 27 member countries the way out.

This Spain thing is a mystery though, I think. If Spain is happy with Ireland and Latvia in the EU, then why not Scotland? After all, Spain is now virtually bankrupt and its pions could then look for new foreign jobs in Scotland too, in addition to Germany.

Do you think Scotland will arrange a referendum now that the English handed the place to the goons? And if yes, what outcome of the Scottish referendum would be your bet?

The incredibly silly SNP woman, Nicola Sturgeon embarrassed herself yesterday, she gets no special deal for Scotland, also Donald Tusk snubbed her.

Donald Tusk is President of The European Council, he's now more important than that alcoholic Jean-Claude Juncker.

The next important Referendums both come in October.

Hungary is having a Referendum on the "poor refugees", we expect our Hungarian brothers and sisters to reject the Quota System, Hungary is a Christian nation and as Viktor Orbán has stated, there's no place for Islam in Hungary.

This is also what Robert Fico the Prime Minister of Slovakia has stated and Fico takes the helm of the Council of The European Union in just a few days.

Italy is having a Referendum on amending the Italian Constitution, so that the UNELECTED Prime Minister Matteo Renzi can get his reforms through by transforming the Senate of The Republic into a Senate of Regions, he's said if he loses, he'll resign. Patriotic Europeans are going to help our Italian brothers and sisters make sure Renzi loses.

This suggestion from Matteo Renzi is completely un-Democratic and classic Leftist Authoritarianism.

It must be defeated.
What if that SNP sturgeon is a crack whore? She must be retarded indeed. She could even have used the clichee of Spain's Great Armada of the 1500's to illustrate a common ground between Scottish and Spanish self determination. What is the logic here? Whose job is sturgeon doing?

You seem to believe the propaganda. If Spain is bankrupt, what is the U.S. It's funny how people believe that somehow only public debt is dent LOL

By the way, I also don't understand why Renzi is a bad guy. For what I understand the Italians have always been a city centered people, not nation centered, ever since the Langobards assembled Italy's modern cities there 1500 years ago. So, then, Renzi is more like a decentralizer of power, the exact opposite of communist totalitarian bullies.

Because they believed that they would be better off as part of a United Kingdom that is a member of the European Union.

Without the UK in the EU, the Scots think that their plight would be better served outside of the UK and inside the EU.

That 35 % is most likely the student loan industry. A special game, that has not fully found its way into Europe, but will soon I bet. The problem with private debt that it is difficult to compare it with anything, because it changes often as randomly as laws written to underwrite it. On the other hand, national debt is per international agreements, a much slower variable, so national debt is the a better candidate for a metric, although not perfect. If after the student loan game the legislators suddenly decide to write a few new laws about creating a sex loan industry too, then that will be a private debt industry, underwritten automatically by the federal government, and still will serve no value in international comparisons.

I think this is true, at least on Scottish national basis, and their negotiator, sturgeon, is their traitor, and they should investigate her.

Ireland and Latvia were countries already when they applied for membership. Scotland will lose membership when BREXIT is complete and will have to apply. Difference is Scotland must first separate from The United Kingdom. Were The EU to quickly accept Scotland it would embolden the two factions chasing independence from Spain. Catalonia is a force I do not fully understand but from my (admittedly limited) experience with Basques I have to say they are a people with whom you don't want to mess. Am even slightly pissed-off Basque makes the angriest of ISIS fighters seem like a castratto.

No, a seizure of power and the setting up of a Leftist Dictatorship, this is the exact reason why the Constitution of Italy was written the way it was in 1946 and put in place in 1947:

"This system was designed in 1946 and 1947 in an effort to ensure that Italy would stay a consociational democracy, so as to make it impossible for Soviet-aligned parties like the Communist Party and the Socialist Party to seize power"

Italian constitutional referendum, 2016 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here, taking directly electing Senators AWAY from the Italian people, of course Matteo Renzi wasn't elected he was appointed, he's Italy's THIRD appointed Prime Minister since 2011.

"Under the new bill, the reformed Senate would have 100 members, down from 315, and they would no longer be directly elected. Ninety-five members would be chosen by regional councilors and mayors and the other five would be nominated by the president.

The new Senate would retain its veto on some constitutional matters, but its ability to veto ordinary legislation would be sharply reduced—a change aimed at simplifying the long and tortuous lawmaking process in Italy.

The Senate also would no longer be able to participate in confidence votes in the government."

Hmmm. Now I understand it better. Would be interesting, if a couple of investigative journalists sacrificed their lives to report what monies move this Renzi.
