2. If the owner had been an African American and the thugs had been Hispanic, this incident would have gotten more coverage.

3. The owner did make one mistake, however. Since the thugs did leave, he should not have rushed outside to confront them. He was lucky that the thugs did not attack him inside his restaurant.
