We are told by the genius editors of the New York Times that Global Warming aka "climate change" is responsible for the civil war in Syria, because of a DROUGHT....

As the marchers demand more of our taxdollars for "science," let us check out this particular slant.

Whether you agree or disagree that the planet is "warming" is not the point. Rather, it is quite simply an issue of

DOES WARMING make Earth wetter or drier???

And that is absolutely ridiculously obvious. A really cold Earth is completely dry, all ice. A really warm Earth is all STEAM in the atmosphere - really wet. The warmer Earth gets, the wetter it gets.

Hence, the NYT and all of its PARROTS like Bill Maher got the basic SCIENCE ISSUE completely WRONG, never mind the fact that their arguments about what is really going on are also 180 degrees off.

The NYT is blaming global WARMING for a drought, when, in fact, warming would cause LESS droughts....

NICE.

SCIENCE MATTERS.

POLITICAL SCIENCE is not SCIENCE, it is SOCIAL STUDIES/SOCIOLOGY

GET THE SCIENCE RIGHT OR STFU!!!!!!!!!

Now you're acting like an ass. Like they do. Stop it. Matt said he had no idea either way, but probably not. In other words for once he was honest.

People are marching around the country with signs parroting the NYT's false assessment of warming causing more droughts.

They are demanding more tax funding for such "science."

Really, you have the ASS on the WRONG SIDE OF THIS ISSUE.

There is no way that blaming the war in Syria on GWarming is backed by science. NONE whatsoever. Climate has not shifted in that region enough to AFFECT food supplies as much as other issues like water use or wastage or the patronage economies of that region where the dictator decides WHO eats and WHAT they eat.

That was one of the nauseating claims being regurgitated during the March for Science yesterday. It's Sick and Depressing to see this level of ignorance and brain washing..

The message of the marches was

FUND our FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant thread..........I burst out laughing. At every turn, once people take a close look at the issue of global warming, unless they have a thought processing disorder, they suddenly realize how stoopid the alarmist argument is.
