Say Only What We Want to Hear, or We Will Take Away Your Livelihood

Quite the contrary... lots of leftists have been "Cancelled" for their behavior - the Dixie Chicks, Jane Fonda, Colin Kapernaek, Sinead O'Connor.

You take a controversial stand, it follows you around.
? The Dixie Chicks have never stopped performing, Fonda made many, many movies since the 70's. Kapernick lost his starting spot before he started kneeling. I don't follow Sinead, never cared for her music.

PayPal is a private company, they have every right to not do business with a company who they don't want to deal with. If you don't like PayPal, use Zelle or Square or any one of a number of other services.
The RW never seems to get the hint and then, boom.

You base your loans and services for those that are a good risk, not because of race, color, creed, sex, sexual preference and political association. You are in business to make money, not dictate morality.
Not a good interpretation. Banks are barred from discriminating against individuals but they are not required to do business with any organization that may bring shame or liability on their institution. Far right groups are notorious for shady dealings, tax evasion, and embezzlement.

Um, yeah, we've seen what unregulated banks get us.

The Stock Market crash of 1929
The S&L Collapse of 1990
The Banking Crisis of 2008.

And so should PayPal.

Discrimination is discrimination. You can make the same argument for bakers and flower shops who refuse to service gay weddings because they believe it will cause their business shame. They are wrong for doing so as they are violating public accommodation laws. We need to quit being so sensitive and suck it up. As long as both sides continue to play this way it will continue to decline.

No business can legally discriminate against individuals but the government can't make you do business with shady characters and organizations that you suspect are engaged in shady shit.

So, if PayPal announced they would no longer do business with blacks, you'd be cool with that?

Somehow, I think not...

I do believe Mr. Young has a Title VII case against the PayPal.

Every legal group that support civil liberties should back such a suit. The Anti Civil Liberties Union will no doubt be supporting PayPal.

But the ACLJ and other proponents of constitutional rights should make this a major cause. Sue PayPal out of existence.
