All you need to know about the escalating diplomatic row between Saudi Arabia and Canada

So Saudi Arabia gave Canada and Trudeau a royal smack down, Trump style and it is awesome.

Canada tweeted about the Saudi government's arrest and handling of civil rights activists in their country -- Canada needs to keep its nose out of Saudi Arabia's business, now they are getting owned.

They have suspended all future deals with Canada, cut trade ties, all flight travel is suspended, no Saudi citizens can receive medical treatment in Canada, take that socialists!! -- and to think, Canada brought this on themselves for trying to defend women like Raif Badawi, who got sentenced to 10 years in prison for advocating for human rights. The fact she is taking a picture with these 2 people tells me all I need to know about her..I am glad Trump is staying out of this one, coming out in support of Canada and human rights is not worth upsetting Saudi Arabia.

So Trudeau, I bet you wish you would have been nicer to Trump now don't you? This tweet sent by Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry is totally sweet -- it's a pic of a plane flying into the CN tower in Toronto -- as to say, stay out of our business or you may get your own 9/11 -- the Saudis totally owned them with that tweet -- I'm not saying the Saudis in anyway had anything to do with 9/11, they were just using locker room banter/trolling in making that threat..

Biff, your disingenuity here is almost palpable... try being more subtle in tripping up the conservatives with your faux OP's... Doesn't your MO precede you on USMB's here at this point?

Would conservatives have been more sympathetic to Canada if Iran sent the 9/11 threat?

Right, and the US is attacking Iran. Does the US give a shit? No.

So why should Canada give a shit about a worthless piece of crap country like Saudi cut your balls off for sneezing Arabia?

Oh the irony...

  • The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia executed a man by crucifixion in the holy city of Mecca on Wednesday amid trying to attack Canada on its human-rights record.
Saudi Arabia crucified a man in Mecca while aggressively calling out Canada over human rights
But they sure know how to make an insecure man-baby feel welcome

And that is relevant to your OP how?
It is very relevant -- there is a reason ZERO conservatives care about Saudi Arabia taunting a North American country with a 9/11 threat -- because that country is Saudi Arabia, and globalists love the Saudis..

If that was Iran sending that tweet instead, are you telling me that conservatives wouldn't view that as an act of war against our "sudden" ally??

I’m not telling you anything apart from it’s extremely ironic for SA to comment on human rights.

Possibly, Trump would also like to know how long Saudi Arabia forces in Yemen have been allied with Al-Qaeda (AQAP)?

AP Investigation: US allies, al-Qaida battle rebels in Yemen

"ATAQ, Yemen (AP) — Again and again over the past two years, a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the United States has claimed it won decisive victories that drove al-Qaida militants from their strongholds across Yemen and shattered their ability to attack the West.

"Here’s what the victors did not disclose: many of their conquests came without firing a shot.

"That’s because the coalition cut secret deals with al-Qaida fighters, paying some to leave key cities and towns and letting others retreat with weapons, equipment and wads of looted cash, an investigation by The Associated Press has found.

"Hundreds more were recruited to join the coalition itself.

"These compromises and alliances have allowed al-Qaida militants to survive to fight another day — and risk strengthening the most dangerous branch of the terror network that carried out the 9/11 attacks.

"Key participants in the pacts said the U.S. was aware of the arrangements and held off on any drone strikes."

Why the US Silence over Saudi-Al Qaeda Alliance in Yemen?
