Sarah Palin Ties Planned Parenthood To Kermit Gosnell Case

anyone who posted against abortion in the instance of rape or incest?

Well my man, you cant trap me in that, I remain neutral as of now on that, but I'm not worried about .5% of the abortions....I'm more worried about 90%+ of the birth control ones.....lets get off the red herring issues.....because even if we allowed those...you wouldnt agree to the rest being banned, now would you?

"neutral" aint going to stop the criminally implanted foetus from growing

Roe v. Wade didn't exist during Sanger's lifetime. Sanger died in 1966. Roe v. Wade wasn't decided until 1973. Birth control wasn't even legalized until 1965 - a year before her death.

right and she opposed it...until her death......but she was for eugenics...a euphamism for racist genocide......hence her stance on birth control...she didnt think some people (ie blacks) needed to be here.......and she's YOUR hero not mine!

So Dot com, real easy, would you support banning abortion if we allowed those cases?

Margaret Sanger was a great champion of female reproductive rights, and Planned Parenthood has outgrown and overcome any racial bias (negative eugenics) in its founding. So, what's your point?

From Jroc's.... "God bless Planned Parenthood" thread

Sanger believed that lighter-skinned races were superior to darker-skinned races, but would not tolerate bigotry among her staff, nor any refusal to work within interracial projects.[94] Her contemporaries in the African-American community supported her efforts. In 1929, James H. Hubert, a black social worker and leader of New York's Urban League, asked Sanger to open a clinic in Harlem.[95] Sanger secured funding from the Julius Rosenwald Fund and opened the clinic, staffed with African-American doctors, in 1930. The clinic was directed by a 15-member advisory board consisting of African-American doctors, nurses, clergy, journalists, and social workers. The clinic was publicized in the African-American press and African-American churches, and received the approval of W. E. B. Du Bois, founder of the NAACP.[96] Sanger's work with minorities earned praise from Martin Luther King, Jr., in his 1966 acceptance speech for the Margaret Sanger award.[97]

From 1939 to 1942 Sanger was an honorary delegate of the Birth Control Federation of America, which included a supervisory role — alongside Mary Lasker and Clarence Gamble — in the Negro Project, an effort to deliver birth control to poor African Americans.[98] Sanger wanted the Negro Project to include black ministers in leadership roles, but other supervisors did not. To emphasize the benefits of involving black community leaders, she wrote to Gamble "we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." This quote has been mistakenly used by Angela Davis, to support her claims that Sanger wanted to exterminate black people.[99] However, New York University's Margaret Sanger Papers Project, clarifies that Sanger, in writing that letter, "recognized that elements within the black community might mistakenly associate the Negro Project with racist sterilization campaigns in the Jim Crow South, unless clergy and other community leaders spread the word that the Project had a humanitarian aim."[100]

From your article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Sanger

Sanger is a frequent target of criticism by opponents of birth control and has also been criticized for supporting eugenics

In 1926, Sanger gave a lecture on birth control to the women's auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey

Planned Parenthood Federation of America, a name Sanger objected to because she considered it too euphemistic.[

As part of her efforts to promote birth control, Sanger found common cause with proponents of eugenics, believing that they both sought to "assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit

And your point is? Reagan was once a Democrat. The NRA was once sane. Shit happens. Things change.

LOL, she was a liberal and believed in eugenics....her whole life....she did staff her abortion clinics and most of em were in the inner city..hmmmmm......

so eugenics, plus birth control.......hmmmmmmmm what does the math say. Oh and she was friendly with the Klan....damn, the more I learn the more interesting racial politics become.....

I was told it was racists whites in the south and they all became republicans in the 60s......to help ole Nixon......but when asking questions, it just doesnt add up does it?

Hours after President Barack Obama vowed to defend Planned Parenthood at the organization's national conference on Friday, Sarah Palin wrote a lengthy missive on Facebook, tying the family planning organization to Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a provider of illegal abortions who is on trial for murder.
"Considering the role Planned Parenthood has played in looking the other way while the mass murdering abortion doctor Gosnell butchered babies born alive from his horrific infanticide procedures and abused his women patients, it’s perhaps not surprising that this same president sees nothing wrong with allowing his name to be so openly associated with this organization," the former Alaska governor and ex-vice presidential candidate wrote on her Facebook page.
Planned Parenthood receives federal grants through the Title X family planning program, which it uses to subsidize contraception, cancer screenings, sexually transmitted infection screenings and other health services for low-income women. Planned Parenthood patients pay separately for abortion services, because the Hyde Amendment prohibits using federal funds to pay for abortions.

Planned Parenthood contends that it cannot be compared to Gosnell's clinic because it performs legal, safe abortions in well-regulated facilities. “We have consistently said that this is a horrifying and outrageous case, that Gosnell ran a criminal enterprise, not a health care facility, and that he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law," said Eric Ferrero, vice president of communications for Planned Parenthood.

So, obviously anti-choice zealots are concerned by more than who pays for abortions - even when federal funds aren't used.

Planned Parenthood said recognizes this guy is a murderer...when will you?

And how could this have happend?Legalized abortion was to end all of this.....LOLOLOLOLOL

Reality doesn't. Reagan's passage of abortion legislation in California came back to bite him. The NRA is still sane. You are too damned blind to see that your rights are being advanced upon by the forces at whose feet you worship.

How about the founder of Planned Parenthood's ties to Nazi Ideology?

"The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda

By Margaret Sanger

Seemingly every new approach to the great problem of the human race must manifest its vitality by running the gauntlet of prejudice, ridicule and misinterpretation. Eugenists may remember that not many years ago this program for race regeneration was subjected to the cruel ridicule of stupidity and ignorance. Today Eugenics is suggested by the most diverse minds as the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems. The most intransigent and daring teachers and scientists have lent their support to this great biological interpretation of the human race. The war has emphasized its necessity."

In contrast with eugenicists who advocated euthanasia for the unfit,[note 9] Sanger wrote, "we [do not] believe that the community could or should send to the lethal chamber the defective progeny resulting from irresponsible and unintelligent breeding."[90] Similarly, Sanger denounced the aggressive and lethal Nazi eugenics program.[85] In addition, Sanger believed the responsibility for birth control should remain in the hands of able-minded individual parents rather than the state, and that self-determining motherhood was the only unshakable foundation for racial betterment.[87][91]

Sanger's family planning advocacy always focused on contraception, rather than abortion.[106][note 10]

Margaret Sanger belonged to the American Eugenics Society in the early 1900's Lakhota. Some of it's members initially formed her original group.

Check under "S" and you will find her name. She was widely criticized for supporting eugenics, as it says in the first paragraph of her Wikipedia page.

Also,

Sanger espoused the thinking of eugenicists -- similar to Darwin's "survival of the fittest" -- but related the concept to human society, saying the genetic makeup of the poor, and minorities, for example, was inferior. Pivot of Civilization, by Margaret Sanger, 1922, p. 80
