I had a friend who bought a truck that has sat in a garage for several years and never driven. It was 5 years old and had only a few thousand miles on it. It was a very nice truck so I wondered what was up. He said he bought it from an acquaintance and the truck belonged to her husband. The day after he bought it, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died shortly thereafter.

Just because you plan ahead doesn't mean that you will live to see it through to fruition.
