Milton Friedman, one of the two most influential economists of the 20th century (the other being Keynes), died at the age of 94.

If you are a free market conservative, as I am, then you have been influenced by Milton Friedman.

Thank you for the letter, Kathi...

He was an eloquent voice of freedom, a strong defender of the individual, a teacher, a hero to some, and he will be missed.

I thought that kinda summed up his thinking. ;) I heard him speak, at U of C, eloquent and such a nice man. Some thought him harsh, I saw him as compassionate, in a tough love sort of way.

    I'm merging the two threads.
