Retailers closed down over 4,600 stores in 2023, with more to come in 2024

Simple Simp.
FPOTUS showed his failed Leadership by deflecting to Governors during COVID.
He failed on the World Stage, but most importantly, he FAILED us Americans.
A total Failure.

If he had any BALLS, he would have demanded the Country Stays Open.
Don't tell me he had NO ABILITY to be the Leader.
Trump demands shiny all the time, except when it involves Leadership.
trump failed, and you simply want to blame it on others. The Trump Way.

"No, I don't take ANY responsibility at ALL." djt. <<<<<<< Fact simp.

I know I say this all the time. I am in corporate finance, We do not take loseses. We had 2 VPs fired in the past month for not makIng their forecast.

It's all about profits. Hell even Starbucks closed a location around here because of safety concerns and homeless bothering customers.

Keep in mind it was right downtown, prime location

According to you.....business failures in 2020 were not trumps fault at all.
It was the fault of 'someone else'

China’s fault, Simp. And Fauci’s for funding the development of the virus.

Is this progress?

Online purchases account for much of this, but is it good?
It is an ongoing trend but retail vacancies have trended flat.

This is affected by several factors but over time nearly half of all new retail establishments fail within the first year.

I've noticed that Walmart seems to be doing quite well. But then they have done much to change their business model in this climate. Right now they have a delivery business that's more than on a par with Amazon. I can order anything I want and it usually arrives within 24 hours without any special shipping fee attached.
